Sick of the authentication process not working properly though. It’s been playing up for months now. Everytime I tap the link for the authentication to start it doesn’t work. ### 4/5 — Apple Watch *2026-07-15, version 4.15.0* Please work on integrating amaysim so I can use it with my cellular Apple Watch. I think that would make many customers choose other companies due to that. ### 3/5 — wasted *2026-07-10, version 4.15.0* lost avaiable datas cause it expired, uhh ### 2/5 — Two too many bugs *2026-07-01* 1) you have an existing account but are logged out. You go to sign up for a new eSIM, and enter your email. It detects you’re an existing customer, and forces the MFA as part of the sign in. However after clicking the link you are perpetually stuck in Pending (it is waiting for you to approve the MFA, but because you’re not signed in you can’t click approve) 2) you do ID verification but have a special character in your name (i.e. a hyphen -). They force a limited version of the keyboard for this field so you assume you have to enter your name without the hyphen. Doesn’t work and you fail verification and get warned you only have two tries left. You have to go to another app, write your name, then copy and paste it into the last name box to get it to work App looks visually nice but this stuff needs to get sorted ! **Developer response:** Hey, thanks for your feedback. I’m trying to log in to pay my bill, and after entering my correct email and password, the app insists on sending an authentication link to a completely random phone number ending in 1600 that I have never seen or owned. I was able to log in fine last time, but now I’m completely locked out of my own account and unable to make a payment. Incredibly frustrating experience. Fix your security/authentication bugs. ### 1/5 — ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - AVOID AMAYSIM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME! *2026-07-15* I am writing this review after wasting 3 full hours of my life just trying to activate an amaysim SIM card bought from Coles. The end result? Total frustration and absolutely nothing working. The system and app of this network are an absolute joke. The app constantly throws authorization errors, loops endlessly, and crashes. When you switch to the website, the interface is completely messy, and they purposely hide essential features to make it difficult for users. The most infuriating part is that when something goes wrong, you are completely stranded because this company has ZERO customer support. They have no physical stores, the hotline keeps you on hold forever, and the Live Chat button on both the web and the app is hidden so well it feels like a prank. A major telco in Australia operating with this level of irresponsibility and unprofessionalism toward a new customer is completely unacceptable. In short, if you are thinking about buying an amaysim SIM card, stop right there. Don't be fooled by their cheap promos. The hassle, broken system, and non-existent customer service will only waste your time and leave you furious. An utterly terrible experience. I am throwing this SIM straight into the bin and moving to another network immediately! ### 1/5 — Can’t Recharge without 2FA *2026-07-05, version 4.15.0* Stuck in a loop where I can’t recharge without verifying my identity with an email, but the email never comes, or if it does it takes so long it’s invalid. Cant even talk to chat support without verifying. It’s been going on for months, sometimes it randomly works but I’m tired of working so hard to give them my money so I’ll probably just change providers. I’ve never had to verify to recharge with a provider before, and sometimes even when I do get through with the email they then want an SMS verification as well! 3FA!! ### 1/5 — Inflation *2026-07-05, version 4.15.0* I don’t really see why the prices went up so high so quickly. Jumping on the inflation bandwagon. ### 1/5 — So bad, not recommend *2026-07-02, version 4.15.0* It's really bad and useless, I initially bought regular data but it couldn't be used, they said, because I was outside Australia, even though at that time I was still in Australia, then I returned to my country, bought roaming data but it still didn't work. I've also followed all the suggestion but it all didn't work. ### 1/5 — SIM *2026-07-01, version 4.15.0* The eSIM doesn’t automatically reactivate even when you select it as your mobile SIM. The AI generated chat just takes you in circles. ### 1/5 — eSIM *2026-06-29, version 4.15.0* This is the second SIM card I’ve purchased that I haven’t been able to activate on my phone. The first time, I spent two months trying to get it working, had to contact customer support multiple times, and eventually had to cancel my service. Now I’ve just purchased a second SIM card, and I’m experiencing the exact same issue again.
