If you previously used the app without using the desktop or web version and gave up on Marvin, you need to come back and try it again. I’ve used the desktop app for over a decade and just kind of accepted that the phone app would never be helpful. But now both apps work seamlessly. Shout out to the Marvin team for listening to their users and adjusting the app accordingly ### 5/5 — Great on desktop and mobile *2026-08-18, version 1.66.0* Great app for people who want customizable task and project management software. I tried to put in tasks but they disappeared and couldn’t put in energy level etc. cool concept but user interface is not ideal for new users who want something low effort ### 1/5 — Completely unusable *2026-04-25, version 1.66.0* Maybe you will have more luck but sync completely locks up the UI and makes the interface unusable. I’ve tried running sync status checks, resolving conflicts even factory resetting my todos. For now have cancels my subscription but hope they resolve cause the web app is top notch. ### 1/5 — Charged me $240 for training and then didn’t show up *2025-09-30, version 1.66.0* The company that runs this is horrible. For people with ADHD, the app is very elaborate. I was willing to pay for special training so I could figure out how to use it, and when I inquired, I was connected to the founder of the app, who has a website where you pay $240 for an hour of her time. I paid it and then her calendar was broken so I couldn’t book a time. When I inquired by email, someone said they would let her know and then it was radio silence from there. ### 5/5 — Outstanding Customer Service - Thank You Branko! *2025-09-27* Amazing Marvin is incredible! So customizable and creative. I've used a lot of habit/to-do list software and settled on Notion for a few years, but I kept running into certain points of friction. So far, it seems like Marvin can solve them! It takes time to set up and all the features can be overwhelming, but it's worth it for the customizability. The team is extraordinarily helpful! The primary reason I took the time to write a review is that Branko in particular has given me tons of advice, replying super quickly to my questions with clear instructions that indicate a deep understanding of the product. Seems like the developers have been responsive to feature requests as well! Grateful and excited 🙌 ### 5/5 — Fantastic app, amazing customer service *2025-08-25, version 1.66.0* -I’ve been using AM for about 6 months. -I’ve tried loads of different project planning apps and tend to get a bit obsessive over getting my planning system perfect. -AM is by far the best i’ve used. -On top of that, when i got in touch with customer service i got a quick friendly reply that completely solved the issue. -I honestly feel like they are trying to make life easier for their customers, not just in it for the money which is unusual and refreshing. -100% would recommend if you want a central app to plan everything and anything in Tip: -The web interface is better than the app. I do all of the heavy editing on my laptop but use the app to add things on the fly. ### 3/5 — Only works in web *2025-08-04, version 1.66.0* The web version is 5/5 but the iPhone version can’t load. 1/5 ### 1/5 — Current Version of App Is Unusable *2025-07-19, version 1.66.0* As far as I remember this is my only 1-star review. I can open the app once, and log in. After initial log in the app locks on the start animation and then crashed. Support suggested I use the web app. I have tried it but the tiny touch points are annoying. I like the service but mobile is key part of my workflow and this just does not work. This is not that app. It has been redesigned from the ground up as a full Marvin you can plan an actual day in, on a phone, without reaching for your laptop to do the real work. What changed: - A brand new interface - A Home screen you customize: brain dump, your most important tasks, current projects, time targets and more - More features from the web app: braindump, mood tracker, spin wheel etc. What did not change: Your account, your data, your strategies and your setup are exactly where you left them.
