I literally have to yell sometimes. You can tell the device over and over to stop playing and it just doesn’t stop. Annoying is an understatement. It’s still weird and buggy and feels suspiciously like a website, despite Amazon being all in on React Native… Anyway, I can now pin a link to my alarms and timers (it defaults to alarms so I have to tap again to get to timers) to the home screen. What would actually be nice is to have a timer widget always visible. Just show me my timers. All at once. I double dog dare you. The app is significantly slower now than before the UI changed around eleven months ago. All people want is a voice interface that understands simple commands included in the price of hardware. That’s why we bought the hardware. No one wants a subscription to turn on lights.
