I ended up having to do a factory reset, and set up my recast again. It went okay until the channel scan. I did get it to scan, it found 100 channels and then told me there were no channels and to do a channel scan. It’s just been one problem after another. They appear to be doing update willy-nilly completely messing stuff up so I can’t record or playback and the support is like a joke. But a “connection issue” won’t let me enable the Blaster in my FireTV equipment settings to control via Echo. This has been updated and corrected in the most recent push of the app and everything is working exactly as it was before. I have updated my review to five stars to reflect this and I’m happy to be up and running with my device again! It also says I don’t have any channels but that part of the app hasn’t worked in a while. I just want an app to view the recorded shows on the Recast. This is very poorly done technology. I’ve talked to customer support a few times and even the agents acknowledge there is not much they can do.
