Also have bean disappointed a couple times!! Order was supposed to be delivered in garage and was left on porch! Every time I add or remove someone from the household and click save, it locks up on “Saving…” so that I have to close the app completely. Then I have to reopen again it to see if my change actually saved. I am constantly adding and removing guests to my household so I need this feature to work better please. I wish all three of us could use key delivery. Inevitably, I see the drivers just drive to the front of my house and walk to my front porch and just report that Key wasn’t working properly. There have been times where I’ve purposefully left the garage door open and they don’t even pretend to check. Upon researching how to file a complaint on the website, the instructions just direct you to reach out to customer support via the Key app, which conveniently is a blank screen right now. As someone else put it, it’s a great idea but it’s only as good as the delivery drivers who honor it. ### 1/5 — Beware *2021-04-13, version 1.0.204226* I had a delivery today that is unrecorded in my order status. It was a dupe delivery. In effect, the driver entered our home with no record of his entry. My security system recorded it. I got no email indicating the delivery had been made. I am trying to turn the key delivery off. They have made it really hard. I have to download this app to do it. I have lost trust. When I communicated all the details to customer service I was told “we will work hard to mitigate these mishaps.” ### 1/5 — Very annoying *2021-04-11, version 1.0.204226* Every time I open the app it says offline. Every time. I have to set up the whole thing again just to get it working. Every time. What if I’m away and needed to open or lock the house for a family member I can’t do it remotely because this app is useless and does not work. Offline every time I try to use it. I give up. But the concept only works if drivers are willing to take an extra 30 seconds to actually use the feature. Out of 10 “Key” deliveries, maybe 1 will actually be delivered via Key. Drivers must view it as a hassle and simply bypass it by marking that they couldn’t use the feature when they don’t even try. Much easier to just run them to the unprotected porch and run back to their van. On top of these issues, the Key support team is useless. They simply apologize and offer no further support or remuneration for your time and expense investing in this tool. Proceed at your own risk. ### 1/5 — big security issues *2020-07-14, version 1.0.203837* the app seemed promising. although this just happened. an item was delivered into the garage, yet the key app said it was delivered to my doorstep. there were no notifications about my garage door being opened and closed by the driver. this is a huge security issue. i only saw the item inside the garage - and my security camera saw the garage door open and close. these are the only ways i knew someone had been in the garage. i’m extremely unhappy about this. why should the key app tell me all about when we open/close our garage - yet when, more importantly, a delivery person has accessed the garage it tells you NOTHING. ### 1/5 — Useable *2019-10-15, version 1.0.202051* This app is wholly unusable. I sent up my lock with the app from the lock manufacturer and it worked perfectly with Alexa. Then I attempted to use the key app and the cloud camera. Holy smokes! I could get the lock recognized and not the cloud camera, once the camera was recognized the key app couldn’t recognize the lock. Meanwhile my Alexa app sees the lock and the camera. After linking and resetting my lock three times (which meant resetting all my codes) I quit. ### 2/5 — Car delivery *2021-06-22, version 1.0.204250* I’d love to be able to take advantage of this… but apparently you still can have packages placed in your trunk because of covid. Covid has subsided rather significantly as of late and mask mandates are disappearing. On top of that, I cannot remotely fathom how there’s more, or any, risk of getting covid by putting a package in the trunk of a car, versus inside someone’s residence… Any degree of logic would suggest that it’d be the other way around. Trunk delivery preferred and in-door delivery suspended. Nevertheless, any idea when this will be changed? ### 2/5 — The app is terrible. The lock is great. Can’t use the lock without the app. *2019-08-29, version 1.0.201859* This whole system is super buggy. The lock needs the camera to work. The camera has a crappy WiFi dongle. The app itself can’t lock in new door codes because of the bad connectivity. Terrible system. Definitely don’t rely on this for your front door of your vacation rental property. ### 2/5 — Offline Messages *2019-05-25, version 1.0.201499* This sounded like a great idea, having been out of town when packages were delivered in the past. Downloaded the app and linked to the MyQ garage easily. Problem started within the first hour with “Your MyQ is offline” messages. We have never had an offline issue and when I checked it was fine. This went on throughout the evening and today. Disabled notifications and eventually just unlinked it.
