However, the mobile app doesn't work when you really need to use it. It is frustrating to see that, in all this time, the app hasn't received any significant improvements. I recommend the insurance for its medical quality, but the digital platform is in urgent need of an update. ### 2/5 — FaceID still doesn’t work *2026-08-27, version 1.26.0825* It’s really just a poorly configured app version of the website, and now that it doesn’t allow login with FaceID you have to login with password and MFA. Way better than the other guys I had. Now however I’m experiencing some weirdness. It won’t accept facial recognition anymore. My health pays link disappears from my home page. I tried to send a diagnostic report twice today and it couldn’t be uploaded. Other than that it works really well. I can see if my medication is ready at the pharmacy before they can text me. I see where things have been paid. I really like the my health pays part. But it gives you the option for biometric scanning which you can’t use. Worst app ever *2026-07-30, version 1.26.0623* I’ve been a customer for a few years now. This app is and always has been the bottom of the barrel. Just try and find a care giver!! The app changes areas all by itself. Never finds the caregiver you search for even though you have an EOB and previous visit. Ambetter no longer accepts my previous Doctor, assigned me a PA, which no longer works in the area. Can’t change this on the App, can’t find the present PA I used (just to replace the given one). Everything seems to just try and steer you to their teledoc area. Not surprisingly as then they can control your care and their costs. I’ve been dealing with this App for at least three years and just now am leaving a review as I saw it was rated 4.8. That was so laughable, I felt inspired to let people know….its not even a One star. I’ll go to the full site now and hope that’s better. ### 1/5 — Constantly crashes *2026-07-29, version 1.26.0623* The app is horrible and yet it is the only way I have to manage my health insurance. It constantly crashes it requires like 17 layers of verification. When I do get it to open it spins and spins and spins on loading.. the data in the app isn’t always accurate because it says my insurance is active it. The insurance company is telling my providers that my insurance isn’t active and it takes days to clear it up.
