## What is Ambient Mixer Music?

Ambient Mixer is a community driven project offering you some unique quality soundscapes with different atmospheres for chilling, relaxing or as background music for tabletop games. 
You can further effectively mix and create your own sounds. 

Enter into a world with sounds of wild and beautiful nature, fantasy, science fiction, thrill, horror, ambient noise, adventure or even meditation. 

Or create your own sound atmospheres with the integrated 8 channel stereo mixer. 
Use it to relax, to concentrate while writing, while playing role games or just to pretend you are somewhere else.

Each one of these themes have great sounds that have the effect of making you enter a world of wild and beautiful nature, fantasy, science fiction, thrill, horror, ambient noise, 
adventure or even meditation. Every atmosphere sound is related to each of the images and has the power of giving you a unique experience by pulling you into these worlds. 

On listening to our complex sound atmospheres, you will be amazed at finding how accurately the sound matches what you desire for relaxation or your audio and video recordings.

Ambient Mixer Music comes with all the functionallity to listen to countless atmospheres and even create your own.  

You may purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase. If you do 
you get the following additional features while the subscription is active: 

• Night Timer: You can specify a time at which the app will stop playing the current played ambient. This feature is only available while subscribed to premium. 

• Offline Play: While connected you can mark ambients to be available while being offline. If your subscription runs out you will no longer be able to use this feature. 

• Ad-Free: During your subscription no advertisements will be displayed. After your subscription runs out you will get advertising displayed again.

I love this app. It's so much fun and I've already had a great time making a couple of different ambient scenes. What I'd really like to know is why my ambience creations won't accept any categories or tags. I'd really like a hint if possible, but other than that it's exactly what I was looking for.

I love this app it’s the only background audio player I’ve found that I like…but it’s super annoying having to keep the app open and onscreen all the time in order for it to play. Completely drains my battery :(
If that one thing got fixed though it’d be 5 stars

I used to use this regularly to help focus, however since the last update (I know years ago!) I’ve hated using it. It won’t work when your phone is locked or if you come out of the app even if it’s still open in the background.  I don’t want to have my phone unlocked all the time as not only is it a security risk, it drains the battery. I went to recommend this recently but was reminded about how un-user friendly it is now, which has prompted this review.  Please update it to work properly.

I love this app in many ways, but it’s not helpful when I need something to play without being in the app. It’s basically useless unless you are sitting in the app and don’t let your phone sleep ever. I really wish they’d work on that feature.

I write reviews once in a blue moon, seriously, but it needs to be said; please update this.

Such a good app. But now you can't exit the app, or even the website, without the audio stopping. I'd like to use it for background noise but can't. It seems like it's been going on for a while by the reviews. Please listen to the reviews.

I used this app for years and it was great. Around the iOS 15 update, suddenly it only worked with the app open and my phone unlocked. Canceled my subscription and sent an email at the time, recieved a response that it would be looked into. That was at least a year ago now and the issue seems to not have been resolved. Loved ambient mixer for a long time, as it was the only thing that made me fall asleep regularly. Sad to have lost something I loved so much.

So this app works really well for creating ambient sounds for our DND games. It can be a little rough to use at times (and feels a little archaic in its design) but it gets the job done…and better than most. You have a lot of control over every sound you use to set the scene. The flirty bar maiden a little too loud in the back…just turn her down and say how often you want to hear her.

BUT, I paid for a monthly subscription to their premium service. Everything seems great except I still get ads. And they aren’t even in English 🙄. I want this fixed please.

Now I can’t like or favorite anything anymore. It keeps forcing me to edit the thing in listentiong to instead of tea the description or liking it. I also can’t listen to it outside of the app like other songs elsewhere 😒

It lags quite a lot, and you can’t play anything when you’re not on the app. What’s the point for a sleep timer if it won’t play when my phone is off? Good prices for premium though, just bought a month.
