And nothing has changed. My husband has brain cancer and we have URGENT decisions to be made and cannot access his own MRI images. Which we could easily get from a different medical group when we lived in another state. I could get Claude to whip up something 10x better in 5 minutes. Do better. ### 1/5 — Absolute Worst App *2026-02-12, version 1.46* This is by far the absolutely worst app I have ever attempted to use. I say attempted, because it does not work & is like trying to navigate a maze that is impossible to get out of. Even something as simple as trying to log in is virtually impossible. It doesn’t even allow you to enter your date of birth manually. Which means you must scroll through the calendar forever until you can get to your DOB. And forget about accessing your X-rays. Every time I click on the image I need to view from my medical portal, the app either says, nothing found or pulls up a different option than what I requested. And even when I try to download that image, it doesn’t work. Shame on any medical facility that requires the use of this garbage app to access medical images. ### 1/5 — Incomplete *2026-01-12, version 1.46* They show only 3 providers to pick from, so if your medical provider isn’t listed, then the app is of no use…except my ortho does use them. ### 1/5 — App does not load *2026-01-06, version 1.46* I have downloaded the app but after I sign in, no studies are found. They only load from a pc (desktop/laptop). Website is the worst on the iOS browsers. Like other reviewers I'm unable to.login to the app because I'm "not found," rendering the app usess. There is only support for medical staff, not patients. It can’t find my account and doesn’t have the place listed where I had the images done. There was 3 places listed and none were correct. If I go thru my provider portal, it sends me to the ambra webpage showing my studies. I click on "images", and it takes me to a blak page that says "open the app". I tap on that, and it goes to the app store. I tap on OPEN, and I get a provider-only login page. I click on patients, and it wants first, last, and bday. Name (spelled all the different ways they list it), and birthday, and it says not found. The only registration is for providers. They want my birthday but the only way I can see to enter it is to scroll by the month. THAT IS OVER 750 clicks to get to 1963. I needed to call the dr. Office so they could fix it . The back and forth was in sane. But, the worst part is the language barrier. How can these people get attitudes . When we understands what they’re saying. And having to keep say can you repeat that is outrageous. This makes you more frustrated. It needs to be people who speak proper English. This Ambra App is TOTALLY USELESS and it should not be allowed access to my medical records. I attempted to view my X-Rays using my name (Exactly as recorded on My Chart App) and using my MRN again from My Chart App. Neither search provided access to my X-Ray images. Well, I’ve had MRI’s, x-rays, CT scans on my spine recently. I was always able to pull the images right up on my chart . I want to know why I have to sign up or in to this worthless app that does not work. I want to see my images but this pitiful requirement to use this site is just wrong. I have had numerous images taken within the last 3 months, the latter being on May 31st. The reports are on my chart but this Ambra thing says I have no images to show. Like WTH is up with that. Firstly, What a waste of time and secondly it doesn’t work at all. I demand to see my images on mychart just like I always have. I do not want to be given the run around just to see my results that I’m very entitled to view. Get rid of this 3rd party nonsense and let me see my results. My health is not a game and to not be able to see them is definitely against my rights over my medical findings. Get rid of it or MyChart will be losing patients, physically as well as mentally. Absolutely terrible I would not have even given one star for this but I have to just go send my review. Shouldn’t tell me to go and down load an app if it’s not actually offered. ### 1/5 — Access does not work *2026-04-26, version 1.46* Imaging access does not work ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Patient’s who can’t use Ambra, here’s how to have a great experience *2024-06-25, version 1.46* As a patient, you can gain access to this program, but you need help from your participating health care program. Basically, you just need to have their records department share an old Ambra image with your email address. Then, sign in to your account by going through your health service (MyChart, for instance) then Test Results, get an automatic sign in link to view your imaging. Once you’re there, select all your imaging, and share them to your email address. Now that you have an Ambra account, and all your records are available through your Ambra account, all of your records will be available through this app. Note: After each new imaging, you’ll need to access Ambra through your health service account, through the Ambra portal, and then it’ll also be available. I’ve had to figure this all out through being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, getting stable imaging results, and learning as much as I can. MRIs are paramount to the status of multiple sclerosis patients, and this app has earned 5-stars for me!! ### 5/5 — My results *2023-12-01, version 1.44* It showed my results and the radiologist report. Give the ultrasound techs time people. It’s not going to happen instantly. It gives options to save pictures and videos!
