Works well and feels sturdy. App worked but was a bit hit and miss, however since various updates it stopped working and will no longer connect with robot at all. The app is so bad that, despite how well the mower copes with uneven lawns and mole hills my next mower (replacing a Husqvarna) won’t be an Ambrogio. The software crashes to a point where the robot can no longer be set up. The app crashes when entering any settings. My robot is also now crashing with dumped cores. I suspect this app corrupted its memory on the last update. Tricky to keep an eye on my mower I have to relocate my lawn manually. When a fault occurs the app locks you out of control options. You have to connect next to the mower via Bluetooth or mower controls to do anything. After using a Husqvarna robot & app for years its has its issues, the Ambrogio mower is better the controls are really nothing like as good. Simple intuitive controls should be the starting point. ### 1/5 — hopeless *2024-07-18, version 16.2.5* I’ve never got this app to work successfully. It’s a disaster. I’ve given up on it, just use the mower by pressing the buttons on it. It sort of half worked at one point but just getting it to connect to the mower exhausted my patience. The first incarnation of this app was far from ideal with a hopeless user interface. This latest version is far worse. My dealer tells me that he’s had countless complaints. A great shame because on the face of it, the interface has been improved. I suspect it was released without any proper real world testing. Most of the time if I turn it back on and hit start it gets out of it. Which tells me if it was programmed to either go straight back or forward it would work a lot better. It likes to crank the wheels hard when stuck. It’s infuriating I’ve watched it do this when it actually kind of works. At this point just go forward but it cranks wheels opposite direction and ends up in same spot If your yard is perfectly flat this might work for you ### 1/5 — It continues to be the worst app *2025-04-24, version 17.0.3* This is the most frustrating piece of software I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Simple intuitive controls should be the starting point. ### 1/5 — Struggling with my machine being able to be worked from my mobile since I *2025-04-08, version 17.0.2* I have been struggling with getting my machine too work with my mobile phone and display the map and it's location on it since I renewed my subscription. The dealer came and had a quick look at it and re-installed the software on the machine and I am running the latest app but I keep trying with no result. I've gone right next to the machine and I've made sure the machine is within Wi-Fi. All the screens on the machine indicate that it is picking up Wi-Fi and cloud but still, I can't get both of them to recognise each other. The app could be better presented, that said it is getting better with frequent updates but it lets down a great mower. One improvement to the mower settings would be blade height set to each area. Seems to be stable now ### 4/5 — Great machine and app significantly improved *2021-06-14, version 11.0.0* I was a little concerned about buying a robot as some of the reviews of the app weren’t great however and I’m very pleased with the robot. It’s an amazing machine. Quiet, eco-friendly and the quality of my lawn has significantly increased. It’s also consistently cuts rather than letting it grow over a week and then cutting it. The app is getting consistent updates approximately every three weeks so to give the developers credit it has significantly improved. One gripe is you can only do the majority of changes using Bluetooth. GSM can be used to monitor and change of programs but not things like cut height. In short: very pleased with the mower. It’s the future and servicing is a fraction of the cost and time of a machine mower. Would love to be able to control more over GSM (or even Wi-Fi as I have that to my garden). Keep the updates coming! ### 4/5 — Good *2020-07-12, version 9.1.3* The app is very good with lots of controls and flexibility which naturally takes a little bit of getting used to navigating yourself around. Happy with the mower so far apart from the fact it doesn’t dock properly which I think is because I have very slight ramp in front of the docking station. We should have the ability to download the schedule and edit it without having to be attached to the robot.
