This is the Hungarian localized version of Maltese Charity Service’s First-Aid App. It is made especially for the public, containing small how-tos in 4 topic, which can save life in emergency situations. Upon application start the App tries to determine your current position, as soon as it’s available, it is shown on the first line and then lets you instantly call Ambulance services by tapping on the big red button. On the other tabs you can find several useful information such as: What to do when you find someone unconscious ? or How to start reanimation on a patient ? According to emergency staff experiences, the first 4 minutes are essential to save a life, and in most cases people don’t know what or how to do. The current localization is Hungarian only, but as soon as the translations are ready, the App will be updated with multi-language support. A Magyar Máltai Szeretetszolgálat okostelefonra letölthető életmentő szoftvere különféle veszélyhelyzetekben nyújthat hasznos és gyors segítséget. A program készítői arra törekedtek, hogy a készülék útmutatóit a lehető legszélesebb kör használhassa. Meggyőződésük, hogy az itt elérhető tanácsok adott esetben emberéletek megmentéséhez segíthetik hozzá a felhasználót. A leírás hangsúlyozottan laikusoknak, nem egészségügyi szakembereknek készült. A széleskörű terjesztés, a telefonos alkalmazás korlátai, és nem utolsó sorban a laikus segítségnyújtás reális lehetőségei miatt több helyen szakmai kompromisszumokra kényszerültünk.
