I repeatedly have to try to login, but unfortunately I’m not able to once it kicks me out it takes forever to get back into the application. And with this latest update not fix any of those bugs. I can go online and login with no issues and get the proper emails and verifications however, the app is a different story. They really need to figure it out.. I don’t recommend this app. It’s probably easier for me to go online and pay my bill. ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-10-24* Straight up scam . I applied then it said i was approved I provided my picture selfie then after that it was put under review and within a day it was declined 5 times !!! I have a 750 credit score !! Scam!!! ### 1/5 — Crappiest card/customer service you could get *2023-09-06, version 1.0.7* I love going to the movies and I actually spend quite a lot going every week or two so I decided to get a credit card and join the A-list. I got the card. It was going great. I later get a charge for a payment that I didn’t make. I reached our to them and customer service was bad. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I was told that they resolved my payment and when I asked if I had to pay that even though I didn’t make the transaction, and they said there was nothing they could do and I would probably have to pay. When I call they make me email and when I send an email, the email says that I need to call. So what do I do? Which is it? You’re better off just not even getting the app or calling. The app is just as bad when it comes to disputes and false charges. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2023-05-27* Applied for this card and approved. After approval you have to download the app so you can finish your application. It is a complete waste of time. It never sends me an email so I can finish my application. Called customer service only for them to tell me that they were going to send me an email. Turns out the email gets me nowhere either. It’s a cycle that is a dead-end. I checked my spam. I deleted the app and re-download it a few times to no avail. Apparently it has a lot of bugs. They need to do something about it. Very frustrating. I don’t recommend you apply until they fix it. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2023-05-21, version 1.0.5* I was instructed to download this app and finish the application process. It sent me a code to my phone which I entered, then it sent a code to my email which I entered and kept getting an error message that something went wrong. I tried multiple times and gave up. I have no idea if I got the card or not and the error message was too frustrating so I gave up. This is the absolute worst way to make people sign up for a stupid credit card. There’s no number to call, so I can’t get any help. Guess I won’t be going to movies at AMC? ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2023-05-13, version 1.0.5* Applied for this card and approved. None of my other major credit cards required this nonsense! Making me rethink being an A List member ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2023-04-22, version 1.0.3* Never in my lifetime have I experienced an application process so non responsive. To be approved and not get any support or assistance tells me AMC doesn’t care. I’m done. ### 1/5 — AMC Visa card application *2023-04-15, version 1.0.2* I have been trying to apply for my card but it will not let me finish the process. Will not verify my address. Been trying for days. They say the problem is fixed. ### 2/5 — Terrible onboarding experience, no point tracking *2023-04-15, version 1.0.2* Having applied for this product the day it was announced, it was one of the worst onboarding experiences ever. Double (and erroneous ) two factor authentications, “oops there was a problem”, and still current - an annoying login situation that won’t remember you from session to session. Lastly, for a card/support app that emphasizes point earning, there’s no way to track points or any information on when points or a signup bonus posts. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — How to make payments??? *2025-12-26, version 1.1.7* How am I supposed to keep making payments to the card if the app and website are not working??? ### 1/5 — Program has been canceled *2025-12-20, version 1.1.7* They canceled the program, why is the app still on the store? I can’t even login to get my last statements. “an error occured.” ### 1/5 — Was never good. Now it’s worse. *2025-12-17, version 1.1.7* The App was not known for its exceptional UI. But now, the app won’t display any of my dashboards: balance, totals, scheduled payments, etc. I can’t even make a payment on this card through the app anymore; I just have to accept the automatic payment I set up years ago, since there’s just no other option to pay. It’s completely useless now. ### 1/5 — Worst Customer Service Ever *2025-03-28, version 1.1.6* I would honestly avoid getting this card based purely on the fact that if you need anything at all, the customer service center will not be able to help you. I called 5 times over the course of 2 weeks simply trying to change my email on the account and they couldn’t update that (so that I would be able to log in to the app again). I ended up canceling the card because of it! Truly the most incompetent team/process I have ever experienced. ### 1/5 — Issue signing in *2025-01-29, version 1.1.4* After recent apple update amc visa app now has me try to sign in by sending a code to my phone, I enter code and it sends a code to my email, copy code and enter and says something went wrong, hopefully gets fixed soon so I can continue to make payments on time 1/29/25 : once again app is malfunctioning when trying to sign in sending codes to phone or email and always has error messages this is like 3rd time going through this please fix ### 1/5 — This is ridiculous *2025-01-03, version 1.1.3* Can’t get past the two factor authentication without the app always saying oops there was a problem. ### 1/5 — Unable to get into app to see my card balance *2024-11-27, version 1.1.3* I had no problem applying for the card, but when I had to download the app again after it accidentally got deleted there is no option for an existing user to sign in. It asks for my phone number and email address, then tells me I am an existing customer and only gives me the option of using another email/phone number to open a new account. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2024-10-28, version 1.1.2* If you have a problem with the card and try to call, the agents they have aren’t US based and it’s very difficult to understand them. ### 1/5 — Annoying Application Flow *2024-05-02* This app is incredibly frustrating to use, starting with a constant need to reverify myself via text and email mfa. Once in the app, it doesn’t properly portray your statement balance, rather it tells you a minimum and the current total usage. This makes you either have to dig into your statement for the exact dollar amount or refer to an email. I had actually started to like this card but then a payment from SIX days ago had not posted to my account even though it was debited from my Bank. I was on the AMC website trying to find the payment history and somehow I ended up making ANOTHER payment which had ZERO conformation! There was NO option to cancel the payment so I called Customer service, talked with a domestic agent that was eager to help but sadly the call dropped!!! Upon calling back, I talked to two different offshore agents that were totally useless and one even refused a Supervisor or to allow me to speak to someone with knowledge on THEIR website! I was forced to call my bank to cancel a payment that had not even gone out! That is unacceptable!!! ALL other credit card websites allow you to cancel a pending payment done before it’s been processed! However, the AutoPay feature needs work through PLAID. I’m unable to link my account and contacted customer service to which they said “use another account”. One of the easiest cards I’ve had to setup and use. App is well designed and can even change the color background for your pleasure. A+ with the AList. ### 5/5 — The easiest experience ever *2023-04-23, version 1.0.3* This has to be hands down the easiest and most convenient way to apply for and manage a consumer credit card.. Apps have changed the way we do things in this world and this app is a game changer for managing my personal credit cards.. ohh and the points. Wow.. we love going to the movie theater and will rack these points up easily! This will be my exclusive digital card in my apple wallet and my main card in my real wallet .. No fees and finally a card that with just small purchases you can build points for something you can actually enjoy. I have lots of credit cards, but it seems I never build up enough points to really use them for anything.
