Sometimes it gets stuck on saying to input the code even though it has Face ID. It’s only getting worse over time. The last month has been the worst! Please fix it. ### 2/5 — Slight bug in the scripts section *2025-05-19, version 7.0.8* I use this app FREQUENTLY and the scripts section is great except for one small issue my psychiatrist just issued a new script for one of my meds and it says I have 7 repeats because another medication I was on was unable to be obtained due to a shortage so I asked if we could adjust then support med , he obliged and we adjusted but seems the app didnt cause now says I have 7 repeats and on the print out on the cartons it says 2 ### 2/5 — If only *2025-04-08, version 7.0.8* This app is great when it’s working but I’m sick to death of having to reinstall the app, restart my iphone or both because it’s frozen up. Very frustrating & time wasting to the extent that I’m seriously considering leaving it completely. Says some “Not yet supplied” when supplied multiple times & others “unknown”. Would not recommend. *2024-02-10, version 6.0.0* I set up an account, then got an activation code from the pharmacy. I then was logged out and had to log back in, every time my password was wrong, even immediately after I reset it. Then I thought maybe I register with the activation code, but then it says I have an account already. So I go back, and the same thing above happens. Cannot even access anything, and now all my scripts on file. Can’t even use this for its intended purpose. Either wait until you have an activation code immediately, or just go without it. Back to paper scripts. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — AMCAL app *2026-07-19, version 7.2.0* It’s the worst app I’ve ever used. No matter what I do I need to TRY to log in, I can’t even see my meds because it doesn’t accept my activation code. And I tired of telling the app I’m human, every time I try to log in. REALLY , make sure it works before you release it. If I could rate it less than 1, I would. I’m sure once I can get it to work it’ll be great but it is no good to me right now. I need to get to Chemist to sort it out 🤞but had a stroke and can’t drive. I need to manage meds and that’s not possible as it is. Who can remember a long password and also a pin? Currently cannot log out, the app is frozen in some loop on its home screen. Who does this security really protect? A solution in search of a problem. Then when you try to reset, you lose all your medications. As the script is required to be left at the pharmacy I have no visibility as to script expires date, this keeps leaving me with a problem, I can go from 4 repeats to zero in a day, I then need to get a expensive and scarce GP appointment that could have been avoided if I knew the expiration date. ### 4/5 — Great concept *2021-02-23, version 5.13.0* I like the concept to order scripts remotely and collect or have delivered.
