I use an other app. Dav files extension can only be read by Amcrest. No app nor software can read this file. If the camera witnessed something, it will be impossible to send the video as a proof. Server. Don’t buy Amcrest cam ### 1/5 — Not very good *2026-07-20, version 4.3.2* App doesn’t work like it should. Try to set a static IP address and the app crashes. You can’t log into your account to import devices, during setup, the app states no WiFi so you’re forced to use an Ethernet cable to set up the camera. Very inconvenient when your routers are in a not so accessible location. My last purchase!!! Also Camera does not always recover after internet or power outages! With so much technology out on the market they should have better services!! The company should be ashamed of themselves because they have a good product and yet they can't hire a good app guy. When your updates are two years old or more, they are bad but I got to do work.
