I hope the developers decide to do something real with their life. Because this is sad ### 1/5 — Sync to calendar? *2024-02-05, version 1.13* How is there no “sync to calendar “ option. The main purpose of the app is scheduling and in 2024 I still can’t sync my shifts to my iPhone’s calendar. ### 1/5 — Just use the website lol. *2023-12-13, version 1.13* Why should we need to wait almost a minute and a half to see our schedule? By the time the app has loaded and given you a stupid survey, you could have already signed into the website manually. ### 2/5 — Push notifications don’t work *2023-08-17, version 1.12* Even though I have all my notification setting turned on I don’t get any notifications from this app. ### 1/5 — Difficult for employee use *2023-07-07, version 1.12* Ameego App does not sync with google or iPhone calendars!! Ameego also does not allow employees to swap specific shifts, but rather forces each person to receive a notification about an available shift even if it’s already been claimed. Very difficult interface to use. Ameego does not allow staff to edit availability or day off requests after posting (to change a detail or date) and does not allow user to view what dates they’ve requested off after posting (just shows the first date selected, not entire time off requested). Overall, very challenging app to use with a new staff after their years of working with another scheduling app. ### 1/5 — Fk *2023-07-01* Can’t even open it ### 1/5 — App crashes after latest upgrade *2023-04-28, version 1.11* The latest upgrade of the Ameego app causes it to crash. I have tried using the app on multiple devices with my colleagues, but the issue persists. It has been a whole week, and the issue is yet to be resolved. Has nobody else reported this issue? This problem is causing significant disruption to my restaurant workforce management. Please fix this issue soon. For the most part things are relatively similar, but the new schedule layout is downright terrible. They should have kept the weekly view from the first app. If you book off multiple days, the book off page only shows the first day that was booked off, which is pretty confusing. Plus you can’t delete book offs anymore. As for shift shop, it seems to function the same for me, but my manager said that their view of it is much more complicated than it should be. Overall this app is useable, but is lacking a lot of great features from the first app. ### 1/5 — Awful *2022-07-04, version 1.06* This new app is not manager friendly. And you cannot view the whole week’s schedule on one page. The old features should have been included in the new version. There is no option to turn on notifications on iPhone. I’ve missed quite a few shifts for pickup so this is super disappointing ### 1/5 — Slowest app I’ve ever used *2025-06-11, version 1.15* Frustrated with waiting 5-10 minutes just for the app to load at all and then another 5 for it just to load the interface wrong, and another five just for my schedule and any messages to appear (don’t worry though you can’t even open them for ANOTHER six-ten minutes, and that’s if they even appear which they don’t) And no, it’s not my wifi or anything else as everything else is fast loading. This app just sucks. It took 11 mins 20 seconds just for it to load and I STILL can’t see anything. This is a DAILY issue. And if I try resetting it, it takes even longer. It’s several days to weeks of this. It also helps with employee management, and it helps a lot with keeping track of hours for payroll. ### 5/5 — Hells yea *2022-06-22, version 1.06* My work uses this app. But I honestly love who ever made this and used all the Seinfeld names. You will forever be in my thoughts 😭 ### 4/5 — Widget Feature? *2025-11-03, version 1.17* I’m new to this app and the layout is easy to understand so far! I just downloaded it for my new job. I found I personally like widgets because it makes the more important stuff bigger and easier for me to remember, I noticed that wasn’t an option here. Is there any way we could make this an option for iPhone? Similar to the Pokémon Go widget where it shows your daily spins/field research, but circles indicating when your shifts are during the week? Would like a way to adjust size for personal preference. -Typing replies in app, keyboard obscures what you’re typing so you can’t proofread as you go. Then it “nests” the rest of your sentence out of sight until you hit post, when you can finally enjoy your typos, permanently posted. ### 3/5 — Ok *2023-07-04, version 1.11* This is an okay scheduling app. I am an employee and my management used this app. I don’t like how you can only see the start date of a time off request, can’t even see how many days off requested. In addition, you cannot cancel or edit requested time off. I also miss the dashboard showing the employee lineup for the day! I know you can find that in the schedule section but it was very conveniently located before.
