We bought this after having bought Foxtales that had an impeccable English narrator. I really thought this " Amelia" game was very cute, and a few places it's a bit challenging finding all the stars. But, it is definitely a kids game based on a children's book. It was fun, a cute story and great, fun graphics. Adults as well as children will enjoy this. There is nothing wrong with the sound. I have three different iPads and have never had any of these problems on any of the several hundred iTunes Apps I own, which other people continuously complain about, such as Crashing out, No sound, black screens, this that or the other !! Nor do I have any of these problems on my Apple iPhone. It had things to find to get stars and interactive noises and things the characters said. It did have a foreign accent but it was very understandable so I was ok with it.
