First 3 days of me trying to get into Ameren was completely unavailable on app and online. Today I went to see my Usage and that part is unnaccessible. I cannot view how much I’m using. I’ve done everything in my power to fix the issue. Via what google recommended. Support hasn’t been useful either. SOS ### 1/5 — Garbage. *2025-10-25, version 9.0.0* Ameren rakes in billions, and only raises rates… you would think their app would function for more than a month without needing to be updated. It won’t keep me signed in, is clunky and time consuming. ### 3/5 — Bad version or not fully thought out? *2025-10-21, version 9.0.0* I needed to report an outage but this update did its best to not let me do anything. - first I was forced to get this new version. You know what happens when power is out…the Internet is down. Living in a rural area with spotty phone service on clear days then took 10-15 minutes rather the 10 seconds on WiFi. - then I used FaceId to login but it wanted me to create a new account with a page of data even though I have an account. - I went back to the Home Screen to login without FaceID and it hung trying to log me out - After restarting the app, I went directly to the Outage tab where it told me my phone/address didn’t match their records. When I reply I get a system message. I don’t know what to do. Also, they never give any eta on outages. No matter how many times you uninstall it continues to crash. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sucks *2026-08-17, version 10.2.0* My smart meter was hacked twice this year so far and now for the past couple weeks the app says “Oops! Daily usage data is unavailable.” Ameren installed a new meter and reversed the charges and I couldn’t see daily usage for over a month. It worked for about a week now it’s always unavailable. Every few days the app made me have to go through setting up a finger print again too, which sucks. Never had problem with any other app and biometrics. Other than that, it’s swell when it works. Don’t know why it takes Ameren a couple days to push out everyone’s meter reading when they collect it daily and every 15 minutes. The smart pricing is a sham too. I had it for about a year and what a rip. And why didn’t Illinois approve plug in solar like other states. Friggin’ monopolies are psychopaths. Data centers moving in and raising rates for everyone else bc of s&d, yet the state and electric union don’t pass plug in solar. Another reason to gtf out of Illi! ### 1/5 — Logs off immediately *2026-08-06, version 10.2.0* I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this app and every time I try to log in to my account it immediately logs me back out before I can see anything. I can’t even set up Face ID before it just start logging me out. ### 1/5 — Ameren kills the American dream *2026-07-31, version 10.2.0* Crooked monopoly with rates that change to grow at peak usage times leaving customers with an absurd bill. They make sure it doesn’t matter if you have solar panels lining your roof or if you’re a part of one of their lousy programs.
