But Chatterfox is easy to use and really effective. Its high quality videos and interactive teaching method has really helped me as a non native English speaker. The premium version is worth every penny. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Errors in the app *2024-05-31* I’m constantly getting myriad errors saying “data couldn’t be read…” “something went wrong unable to generate response” etc. I deleted and reinstalled the app, even installed it on a different phone and signed in under a new account but to no avail. I sent the Help Desk screenshots of errors urging for an immediate fix before my free trial expires. So far i’ve received a acknowledgent of my email my but no real fixes. So disappointed. ### 2/5 — Hidden Policies *2021-09-03, version 1.4.3* I’d like to love this app, until my coach “disappeared” after I submitted my work. There was a hidden policy on the billing details page, which I can’t find it anywhere after I paid and started my monthly subscription, which was you can only receive 5 one-on-one coaching inside the app from your coach every month. The customer service said that they didn’t even recommend more than one coaching per month since they wanted the learners to practice more before they submitted their work. (Practice one module per month?) Ok, are we paying money for the pre-record videos? And what’s ChatterFox’s superiority? You should clarify all the course plans ahead, instead of making the point that people are guaranteed to get the money back if they are not satisfied, but hiding all those additional refund requirements and the service you provide somewhere hard to find. I would strongly recommend those who want to enroll their programs to look through their policies carefully. Even on the billing detail page, you should check every single policy and service that they would provide in your course. I really want to love it. But I’m disappointed. It’s not what I really want. If you have more time to learn, ChatterFox has its limit to get feedback from a coach every month. ### 5/5 — This is a different experience! *2024-06-18, version 1.5.4* Apart from some technical errors I had experienced initially in the app (the support team fixed it now), I’m very satisfied with what I’m getting for the bucks. The Chatterfox is the only app that is combining live human coaching with the AI based one. The problem with AI based coach alone is that sometimes it misdiagnoses and gives you wrong advice as opposed to a human coach that listens to your recording and gives a short but very tailored tips. I also love the Chatterfox What’s App practice group that comes free with the Green Card subscription. So far I am loving it— practicing with a real human coach.
