Pretty much just boring. You can bookmark much more relevant and accurate places in 20 seconds. Old fashioned, clunky, and way too lame. This app offers a five day forecast, but you have to go day by day to see future dates. Also, religious holidays are inaccurate (i.e. Holy Week and Easter are listed from February to August). I saw this in previous reviews and hope the developer had fixed it. Unfortunately, I have not seen the developer respond to any of the reviews, and the problem remains unfixed. ### 2/5 — Not useful *2019-03-03, version 1.2.2* For a paid app it’s not very useful ### 2/5 — Interesting but sells adds via weather inbox *2016-07-18, version 1.1* I was excited to have an almanac app until I realized my "weather updates" from it were actually an email inbox full of ads! Say yes to the app, no to the weather addition. This company should sever their connection to avoid bad reviews...this is a nightmare, I have no idea how to get rid of this additional inbox! ### 2/5 — Super disappointing *2016-02-22, version 1.0* I'm a huge fan of the farmers almanac and loved the old app. As a farmer, I use this primarily as a weather forecast app, and the old one was the most accurate one on the market. This one only shows you info for the current day/evening. It will show you an icon (sun/rain, etc) for the 5 day forecast, but not even a high/low temp reading, let alone any wind predictions or times for rain. Also far more difficult to manage and understand than the old one. Even the weather, you can jump forward a week, a month, or a year at a time, but no other increment, so you have to do it week by week or month by month instead of just getting a long range forecast like in the old app. HUGE downgrade for the weather part of this at least. Not worth the money at all if that's what you use it for. ### 3/5 — Dark mode? *2020-12-12, version 1.2.4* I just got the app, the information is very cool and well compiled. But I switched to dark mode, it worked for about one minute and now it’s glitched back to light mode no matter how I adjust settings. What’s going on? ### 3/5 — Update...meh *2016-02-17, version 1.0* So I decided to spend the money and upgrade because I liked the original Almanac a lot. Even though the update looks nice, I kind of wish I didn't spend the money to update. The changing of dates is frustrating and I feel like I can't find things as easy as the original app. I'm sure it will get better with updates but as it stands right now, it's not worth the money to upgrade from the original. ### 4/5 — Fun *2022-01-29, version 1.2.4* If I knew more, this might have 5 stars. Or if there were links to tutorials.
