A year!! *2023-07-28* Update- now over a year and still no fix for a major bug they’ve known about for ages. I deleted this app because it’s useless until they fix face ID. Clearly it’s NEVER going to be fixed. Might be time to find a new bank that keeps their tech updated. What else isn’t kept up with them? Security? How are we to know? Submitted email about getting constantly locked out of my account when using face id last year. Still no fix. Useless app now having to reset password a million times. No other app has any issue with face id even in middle of night, but they can’t fix this? Do they even have IT people?!?! ### 1/5 — Why no update to fix face id??? Even though I keep the Touch ID on, this app makes me type in the password every time I want to use it. I don’t use the app frequently so maybe it reverts to password logon if you haven’t used it for awhile but it’s tremendously annoying ### 1/5 — New app is garbage. *2020-03-08* So is their new website. Those here giving it high ratings are AMBK plants. Hope the money they save on their new system is worth the customer loss. ### 1/5 — Avoid - put your money somewhere you can trust *2020-03-02* So AMBK just put out a whole new app. Not replacing their old one. Just a new one. No notice. The old one just stopped working and gave an error message saying can’t connect to server. NO ONE answered their phone tech support ALL weekend. Their “expected wait” started at one minute but grew as I waited for someone to answer. It’s unacceptable. Avoid this bank. Put your money somewhere you can trust you’ll have access to it and will actually responded to customer service calls. ### 2/5 — App update login issues *2026-07-29* App is pretty useful, but with the recent update, the biometrics doesn’t “stick”. When I login, I select the “Save sign-on ID” option and the “Ensble biometrics “ option, but both default to off the next time I login after the app closes. ### 3/5 — Check deposit process needs improvement *2026-03-12* App is great except it doesn’t capture my checks for deposit automatically. Otherwise very useful. ### 3/5 — A bit buggy *2021-11-01* Quite often when I log in, it fails with a notification of “bad request”. Sometimes I get passed this by just trying again, other times I have to quit the app and then try again. Otherwise the app is generally pretty good and it is great to be able to have my info available from the phone. It would be nice to have two factor authentication available, using something like Google Authenticator or similar app. ### 4/5 — Love the Bank…….not the updated app! *2026-08-11* Love this bank, the people and the online banking ability. Why doesn’t the new app work with biometrics? This piece is maddening!
