But the game chooses a winner before it starts. Which I think is unfair because they charge you for for coins to play the game. So I don't play due to the fact, I'm not gonna pay just so the game can pick and choose who loses. ### 3/5 — The app is hard to figure out *2023-03-08* There is no good tutorial for this app. There are several actions I don’t know how to change and\or happen but I don’t know why. I’m also new to canasta, there are written rules but during play actions happen and I don’t know why. I also don’t think the deals are real world. The hands definitely cycle through favoring a team or player. This became worse when the only explanation was “Invalid Meld”. After quickly losing the first two games I was out of tokens, and unless I spent real money to get more there was no chance to try playing again. Apple sign requires Dual Authentication. Forget it. It’s used to ‘track’ everything you do. Nada ### 3/5 — Cheaters *2020-10-25* The app works well enough but there are some very ugly people on here, and there is obviously some kind of cheater software where they can see your cards. But with me being a new player and the game not having any levels or anything I find myself losing quickly and often. It’s hard to learn and excel at a game when you’re not able to actually play. Also I don’t understand why the bid to get in a game is $1 but you only receive $.5 if you win. This means that even if you’re winning you’re going to run out of tokens very quickly. This would be fine if they had more ways to receive free coins. The winner is decided beforehand. It's a complete waist of time and money. ### 1/5 — Far from realistic odds *2025-09-01* Most games are so one sided and unrealistic in the odds of drawing or being dealt cards. Players are rated but the rating has no relevance whatsoever. Not to mention they take the winning pot 17.5%. So if you play a 4 player game with an entry fee of $500 , you and your partner get only $825 for the win. **Developer response:** We understand your frustration and would like to clear things up. Please know the card dealing is 100% random and impartial, using a uniform distribution, so every card in the virtual deck has the same probability of being dealt at any point. That means no player is favored, though luck can create streaks that feel unfair. For more balanced matches, we recommend playing on tables with the trophy icon. These use the ELO rating system, the same used in chess, to match you with players of similar skill (for example, if you’re level D, you’ll face players of level C, D, and E). When two players have the same ELO, each has about a 50% chance of winning. If ratings differ, the higher-rated player’s expected chance goes up, but overall, these tables provide much fairer matchups than random ones. Regarding the prize pool, every match has a table fee. This is how we keep the game running and allow us to continue improving it for everyone. We truly appreciate your feedback. There’s no way you can win a game with those odds against you. I’ve paid over $30 for points to play, I feel like deleting the game completely… horrible horrible game . I’ve reached out to the game support to find out why they can’t fix the problem but haven’t gotten a response back.
