## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — From OK to bad

*2012-09-20, version 5.0.3*

Not recommended now that the random button has been taken out.

### 2/5 — Random idiom button, please

*2012-09-11, version 5.0.3*

This book-turned-app contains an astonishing number of idioms and phrasal verbs, many of which are pure fun—but ironically, there is no easy way to go about exploring them in no particular order: the requisite button is missing.

If you, my dear developers, have not forsaken your existing customers—who, by he way, forked out an exorbitant $24.99 for this unpolished app out of their sheer love of language—please see to it that a random entry button comes with the next update.

Full Retina support—or at least a high-resolution icon—would be more than welcome. So it's only natural that I'll be waiting for a new version.

### 2/5 — Downgrade

*2012-07-12, version 5.0.3*

This is worse than the previous version in terms of functionality. For the price I had paid I was expecting (and for a long time) to see a see some improvements. Instead they have taken out the random entry functionality, something which makes a dictionary a standalone learning tool. It seems that "less functional" 'upgrades' is becoming a habit of MobiSystems.

### 3/5 — Can’t copy from the App

*2021-09-29, version 10.0.11*

I hoped to copy the meaning of a phrasal verb and paste it to my Anki card, but it didn’t let me do. And also, when I was checking the recent history of what I looked up so far for my review, it just cleared all the history records even though I didn’t click the clear button or anything. If that function doesn’t work properly, this App is not so useful for me since if I just want to look up some words, I can use an online dictionary such as Idioms and Slang Dictionary, which shows far more phrasal verbs and idioms… I’m giving three stars because overall it’s easy to use and understand.

### 4/5 — The

*2016-06-08, version 8.0.1*

I have found this app very handy, but as good as it is, it suffers from missing entries. "As the crow flies," is quite common, as is "In a beeline," but neither of these are in this dictionary. I'm hopeful more entries will be added in future updates.

### 5/5 — Keeps asking for a rating

*2021-10-23, version 10.0.11*

Not good

*2021-06-29, version 10.0.11*

### 5/5 — Excellent source of idioms

*2020-11-07, version 10.0.11*

Very well designed with a huge content of idioms from different grammatical points of views.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2018-09-04, version 10.0.11*

Have used it since ever, probably 6 years, it is easy to handle. You cannot wrong, a must for a writer, or for anyone really.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2018-07-25, version 10.0.11*

Excellent

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The Best

*2017-04-09, version 8.5.4*
