It is VERY limited on features to be able to sort through categories. I can’t even refine my search for size or length. Their size chart on the app is also missing categories for women’s sizes and it not organized between genders at all. I’ve take to using their website fully because the app is just not it. I hope they do an update soon. I would like to be able save items and get notified when things I like go on sale which is not a feature they have yet either. With all the said I will say I LOVE this brand because of my height and all the stylish and sophisticated options for going out and work. Is the guy in charge of this App under 5’7” & doesn’t use the site? Or worse, an MBA? I don’t see how else you could come up with such a nonsense “Sort” function that only has: Featured, Newest, Best Selling, & Price Hi-Lo/Lo-Hi. Dudes… C’mon… The App Product Manager & UX team need to realize we choose & buy mostly/solely by virtue of what’s in stock in our size. e.g. Semi-Tall, 2XL, shirts/tops Please create an App built essentially on a Search/Sort function by size i.e. we tick the relevant size/genre etc. boxes and press “Search”. ### 2/5 — I like the brand, but the app isn’t doing you any favors *2024-06-02* The entire loading page is just whatever is on promo, which I guess is par for the course. But why is the search function so hidden? If I am looking for mens pants, it takes a fair amount of clicking around to get there. When I do, there’s no ability to filter based on things like size, fit, or color. There’s not an area to search for what I want, and not categories like “leggings, pants, tees, tanks” etc. to click on to shop, you kind of have to look at a lot of different things to find what you want. Their quality is unmatched and worth the price. My pants fit, my shirt sleeves are long enough, and I am satisfied. Additionally, a selected item should include all its color options. Finding pants that fit have been a nightmare! Finally found this online store. It’s been amazing. Very nice quality. Very trendy styles. Very decent prices. Glad to have found this place! ### 2/5 — Why is the app so bad?! *2023-11-24, version 6.8* Can’t search properly for garments, it would be nice if I clicked on an item and it showed me all available colours instead of needing to scroll through other styles of clothes to find another colour… and please please please make it easier to checkout. Apple Pay didn’t work properly, credit card doesn’t allow auto-fill, and shop-pay is glitchy. You can find the dress pants/leather in the main feed but there is no way to search (on the app!) and these items don’t have their own category, so you’re at the discretion of the feed. Also would like to look through different colours when looking at a style rather than having to wait for the feed to bring it up. Also, if they made a genuine denim line I’d spend my whole paycheque. Impossible to locate previously viewed items. ### 1/5 — Good Company, Bad App *2025-09-08* I like the fit on the clothes but the app is horrible. Why would you not allow color selection on different items? Once I find something I like it only shows one color. If I want to find a different color I have to go scrolling and scrolling until I find it with very little organization. There isnt even a search function to search for the item I want. Who is designing this app? It’s honestly the worst and least helpful app I’ve ever used. It is preventing further purchases from me because it is so annoying to use. ### 1/5 — Broken Mess *2024-10-15, version 7.5* Every color of every product they sell is a separate entry in this catalog app. Found a shirt you like, but want to see it in a different color? Well, the products are also listed in a completely random order so you’ll have to search. Good luck! The clothes are very well-made, comfortable, And high-quality. But this is a review of the app, not the clothes. The app is a hilarious disaster. Use their website, not their app. This is the first negative review I’ve ever left. Sorry, American Tall, but you could do better. You couldn’t do worse! ### 1/5 — Bad UI *2023-11-04, version 6.5* Difficult to navigate and no search option. You can only view products they suggest. ### 1/5 — Worst customer service ever *2022-12-29* I bought a pair of pants size 34x36. And even though they were labeled as such, they were obviously 36x36 I started a return on the website and was refused. I contacted customer support and the requested photographic evidence. Note that the top of every page of their website says “EASY RETURNS” in all caps. They finally said that the product didn’t qualify for a return because it was a clearance item. I never saw this warning anywhere, but apparently it’s at the bottom of their checkout page which wasn’t even visible in my browser. Regardless, they had sent me a mislabeled product, which they should replace or refund. They refused. I even wrote the CEO and received no response. They only conceded when I reported them to PayPal. They offered to send me a replacement pair of pants and I dropped the case. But the pants never showed up. And it’s now obvious they just wanted me to drop the case. I have since reopened the case and have reported them to the BBB and FTC. ### 1/5 — PRICES *2021-09-16, version 3.7* Too rich 🤑 for my blood. Everything is to high. The app seems like it’s just the website but packaged up in a different way. I go to login and I have to get some code? Why not just use a password like 99.99% of online stores out there? The thing is, the code sometimes doesn’t work. So then what? Please make it easier for me to shop. I don’t think I’m alone in using my order history to re-order later. Consider Amazon: I login with an email and password. Then I see all my orders for the past decade. Whereas with American Tall it seems like I can see lists of my orders, I click on something and it forces me to login with a “code” which as stated doesn’t work for whatever reason? It’s so confusing. American tall is the only clothing brand that fits.
