### 1/5 — Give us the old app back

*2026-03-28, version 2.2.0*

Almost a year later I still hate the new update. Why haven’t you reverted back. Look at your terrible reviews and listen.

### 1/5 — worst update ever

*2026-03-08, version 2.1.6*

i don’t know why they would ever take away half the features can’t ever find what’s running

### 2/5 — Was awesome before the update

*2026-03-03, version 2.1.6*

It was awesome before the update. Was able to look in your surrounding area to see what rivers were running/active it was easy to see because it would just show Green if it was running or red if it was too low. Now, not so much. They are all the same color.

### 3/5 — Nothing else quite matches it

*2026-01-03, version 2.1.6*

And it’s buggy AF, doesn’t work w/ password manager, logs out weekly for no reason, and other nuisances.

### 2/5 — Hard to use

*2025-11-20, version 2.1.5*

Seriously this app is so unnecessary hard to use compared to the original. Keeping the gauges from the river description is a terrible idea.

### 1/5 — Barely functional

*2025-10-14, version 2.1.2*

This last update has made this app nearly unusable. Can no longer filter by flows, difficulty, or distance. Browse by state gives you a list of rivers that is only sometimes listed alphabetically with, again, no ability to filter. I also lost all my favorites when this version updated. Oh, and the button to leave a review doesn’t work. Major downgrade from previous versions. Thankfully the website is still very useful.

### 1/5 — Redesign not useful

*2025-10-11, version 2.1.2*

Used to be a useful app where you could filter by rivers that are actually running. Now it takes forever to figure out what rivers are running. Why would they do this.

### 5/5 — Love the iterative approach and responsiveness to paddler feedback!

*2025-08-05, version 2.0.4*

Lots of apps have a roadmap and you get what you get without many options for input - I love that AW is iterating the app based on member feedback! Such an improvement. Thanks to the volunteers that make this happen!

### 5/5 — Great app, has a lot of room for improvement

*2025-08-02, version 2.0.3*

This app has a variety of different rivers to explore as well as relatively recent and updated information on the difficulty of whitewater as well as any potential hazards. As this app continues to be updated by its users, I expect the app to get additional rivers added to it, including more of the smaller rivers and creeks that aren’t run as often. I love how the rivers are color coded by difficulty, and the river gauges are always accurate. So far I give 5 stars!

### 1/5 — Disappointing App Update

*2025-07-14, version 2.0.1*

I really don’t like the changes recently made to the app. I can no longer quickly check what my favorite or saved rivers are running.
