Be careful: AMEX KSA claims that 1 USD = SAR 3.75 (Fixed). While in fact they charge you SAR 3.76 when you settle the amounts via SADAD, without any further notice! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Never works *2025-04-08, version 2.0.44* App never opens. A shame it hasn’t been resolved after weeks of being useless ### 1/5 — Worst and Most Confusing App Experience Ever *2024-09-12* I’ve used several mobile banking apps, but the American Express app is by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. It’s unnecessarily complicated and lacks the user-friendly interface you’d expect from a major financial institution. The app also seems to lag frequently, and not only is the design weird and counterintuitive, but it also has glitches that freeze the app at random moments. For an app that’s supposed to offer seamless financial management, this feels like a tech nightmare. However, it suffers from a terrible design logic for onboarding. It does not have the ability to remove previously registered devices or sessions during the registration process. Consequently, if a user resets or changes its device, the app will not allow them to register until CS does a manual reset. ### 3/5 — Poor App *2023-09-15* Too slow and keeps rebooting !!
