App is really really bad and barely working. Which is crazy considering Amex is associated with a “premium” service. Extremely bad app and customer experience.

I have been unable to log in since yesterday. I called Customer Care and they confirmed that they are experiencing technical issues. It is 2025, if Amex is not able to keep such basic services running in the Middle East, serious questions need to be asked about their actual capabilities.

Unimaginable that a company with the AMEX brand still runs an app like this in 2025. Non-functional, buggy, and completely outdated - it would have been embarrassing even in 2012. A digital fossil wearing a premium logo. AMEX, your customers deserve better.

Amex should be ashamed of offering this app to its users. I thought Amex meant excellent service but we’ve been given an app developed by a potato. Even while you’re using the app it acts as if you’re on the browser and asks you to download the app and sign in (when you’re already logged in). Absolutely terrible product from AMEX.

This is by far the worst app I have ever used in any category. It’s unacceptable that an international institution like American Express releases something so unstable, outdated, and poorly designed. The interface is confusing, slow, and full of bugs, nothing works smoothly or intuitively. It feels like a product stuck in early testing, showing ZERO RESPECT for customers in the MENA region.
Truly shameful to deliver such a substandard experience.
