### 5/5 — Great product

*2025-08-28, version 1.2.0*

Great product! Helped me with a lot of TT drills!

### 5/5 — Best robot in market

*2025-08-28, version 1.2.0*

I have had the butterfly amicus prime for a few years and believe it’s the best robot in the market. Although it’s not inexpensive, I still consider it the best value. There are many preprogrammed exercises that work great and are easily modifiable. The spin is realistic and adjustable. I especially love the setting where you can serve, it senses when the serve lands on the opponents side of the table, and feeds you the next ball like a realistic serve and attack. There have been a couple minor issues, but I’ve been able to call tech-support to get it quickly resolved.

### 5/5 — Works exactly like the tablet!

*2025-02-25, version 1.2.0*

I bought an Amicus Prime and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there’s an app with the exact same functionality. Connected to the robot in the first try with Bluetooth. Works perfectly so far.

### 5/5 — Very Helpful For Game Improvement!

*2025-02-04, version 1.2.0*

Love the wait function to work on 3rd ball attacking.

### 5/5 — Great Training Device

*2025-01-28, version 1.2.0*

### 5/5 — Robot and tablet

### 5/5 — Amicus Prime is the best

*2024-12-10, version 1.2.0*

I have tried several robots throughout my time playing table tennis. There are several that can help those playing ping pong but if you’ve graduated to playing table tennis, amicus prime is what you need.

### 5/5 — Best Training Partner

*2024-11-23, version 1.2.0*

The Amicus is a staple in my detached garage when l can’t get to my local club. Tons of drills to keep me busy

### 5/5 — Review

*2024-11-14, version 1.2.0*

On the days I am not playing with my coach, I play with AMICUS Prime. It helps keep me sharp until the next lesson.

### 5/5 — Very pleased

*2024-10-30, version 1.2.0*

Very pleased with this product how easy it can be managed.

### 5/5 — Easier to use touch screen using apple hardware

*2023-11-21, version 1.2.0*

The amicus machine come with a low end tablet which has limited touch screen sensitivity.
I broke the screen and I got in a panic mode until I find out I can download the software on my iPad
I down load this software on both my I pad pro and my i phone .
Actually my apple hardware wi if and blue tooth works very well with Amicus machine.
The touch screen of I pad works very well with ball placements and direction. It is like day and night different with the new apple hardware as a controller
It works great .
I think the software is great .

### 5/5 — Works much better than the included Android tablet

*2023-02-17, version 1.2.0*

The included Android tablet that came with a new Butterfly Amicus Prime broke after a week. I installed this Amicus app onto my iPhone and it works much better than the the Amicus app had worked on the slow, included (broken) Android tablet. The Amicus iPhone app is fast and responsive and connects to the robot via blue tooth with no configuration needed.
The "secret" to connecting to the robot is:
1) Open Amicus App
2) press "Robot" icon at bottom
3) Name of robot will appear
4) IMPORTANT: click on the name of the robot
5) a new screen will appear that has among other information a "disconnect" link. Do not click it.
6) Click "exercises" icon at bottom.

### 1/5 — Extrem viele Bugs

*2024-12-20*

App stürzt oft ab, Einstellungen werden nicht direkt übernommen. Nicht zu empfehlen!

### 1/5 — The app is so buggies to run on IOS

*2024-03-14, version 1.2.0*

The basic functions work in IOS but many features are not working well like wait serve feature, unable to save random mode, not all saved drills are imported successfully.

### 1/5 — Viele bugs

*2023-12-28*

### 1/5 — Wait function crashes

*2023-10-26*

Wait function crashes the app after one sequence

### 1/5 — Data

*2023-08-07, version 1.2.0*

### 1/5 — A

*2023-07-05*

### 1/5 — Ballgeschwindigkeit nicht einstellbar.

*2023-02-01*

Die Auswurfgeschwindigkeit lässt sich nicht ändern. So ist die App nicht zu verwenden.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great training tool

*2026-01-06, version 1.2.0*

This robot is a great training tool, which I can customize the programs for my routine exercises easily through the iPad that came with the package. I love the features of random balls that make me feel closer to actual games. I highly recommend this robot for those who want to practice at your comfortable place at any time.

### 5/5 — Very helpful!

*2025-10-01, version 1.2.0*

Connects really easily and helps me practice. I can clearly see how much I’ve improved!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2025-09-26, version 1.2.0*

Love this app! It’s super user-friendly and makes practice a lot more fun.

### 5/5 — Simple to use

*2025-09-21, version 1.2.0*

App is simple in nature and the UI is easy to navigate

### 5/5 — The best robot with the app

*2025-09-20, version 1.2.0*

The robot is essential for any one wishing to practice on demand rather than wait for a partner. What is awesome with this one is you can program the spin, trajectory, spacing between serves, etc etc. It takes a bit of time to learn all the power, but once you learn the power, the app will help you unleash it. The robot is not cheap but quality in this is related to the price. We have had some other table tennis bots before but this one is the real best one in the market today. While we haven’t yet tried it but the app works on iPad too, which would enable for a bit more complex programs to be saved and done depending on variety needed at particular time.

### 5/5 — Great robot, easy to use app

*2025-09-20, version 1.2.0*

Amicus is one of the top robots. And the app makes it convenient to plan and do the drills. App interface is easy to use.

### 5/5 — Solid Training Tool!

*2025-09-19, version 1.2.0*

This app is a great way to train if you don’t live near a club. It’s pretty simple to use once you get it all set up. I especially like the sample button — it makes it easy to dial in each ball without having to run through the entire drill every time. Really helps fine-tune practice and makes training much more effective.

### 5/5 — Very accurate placement

*2025-08-31, version 1.2.0*

Premade drills are really good. Honestly a good substitute for a practice partner. Great for footwork and reps!

### 5/5 — Great training partner

*2025-08-31, version 1.2.0*

Great tool for solo practice and building basic strokes

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-08-29, version 1.2.0*

Very easy to use, love it.
