### 2/5 — Not very happy

*2026-02-27, version 25.12.2025090201*

Never get what i actually order.

### 4/5 — Where’s breakfast?

*2025-02-08, version 24.18.2025011603*

The app was easy to use, but I was very disappointed that breakfast is not available in the app. Most of my visits are during breakfast hours.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Who is your customer?

*2026-03-18, version 25.12.2025090201*

I just paid $16.97 for your #1 combo meal with the extra item at regular size, and 3 sauces. After 30 years of eating here, you have officially priced me out. I really hope you bring down your insane prices.

### 1/5 — App needs some work

*2026-03-02, version 25.12.2025090201*

With the recent app update as of 2/2/26, I am no longer able to place an online order due to super limited options. Just shows: Value Deals/Daily Specials, Salsa Bar, Sides, and Drinks. Tried a couple different zip codes with same results (68901, 68803)

I’ve placed orders from here before and had a lot more options, so not sure what the change was but hopefully they fix it soon so I can go back as I only place mobile orders from here to avoid long wait times.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2026-02-03*

Slow and glitchy, deals don’t work. The chicken bites used to be hot and fresh the last three times they were old and cold. I’m done with amigos they’re too expensive now for the inconsistent quaity and horrible mobile app.

### 1/5 — Don’t use the app

*2025-11-05, version 25.12.2025090201*

They will spit in your food. Check yelp. Grand island

### 1/5 — Didn’t get correct order

*2025-06-11, version 24.18.2025011603*

Didn’t get correct order using the mobile app. Unfortunately didn’t notice until I got home.

### 1/5 — No check out basket???

*2025-04-30, version 24.18.2025011603*

Won’t let you order from the deals page.

### 1/5 — TOO EXPENSIVE

*2025-04-03, version 24.18.2025011603*

Amigos used to be an inexpensive meal. These days, ALL their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. LOWER YOUR PRICES BY 25% AT LEAST! I’m a lifelong fan of Amigos, but I don’t pickup food here anymore because it’s so expensive. I can go to the authentic, Mexican-mafia-owned local diner for STEAK FAJITAS absolutely loaded with high-quality steak for the price of a freaking single soft-taco meal at Amigos - and we all know which is better deal. EVEN WITH THIS APP paying me back a little when points are earned DOES NOT MAKE-UP for the prices. Cut it out!! LOWER YOUR PRICES literally 25-30%. Ridiculous!

### 1/5 — Lied about the free meal

*2025-03-16, version 24.18.2025011603*

I downloaded the app to use the free combo meal. I ordered it and drove 15 minutes to pick it up and they lied to me and said they are no longer doing the free meal and it ended that day and I would need to pay for it. I’ve worked in the food industry for 10 years. That’s not how that works and it was insanely unprofessional.

### 1/5 — Only the app works the food is horrible

*2025-03-07, version 24.18.2025011603*

They say if you use the app to save you time. This is a bald faced lie. Ordered my food via the app said it would be ready at 11:09. I arrived at 11:15 and I didn’t get my food until 1122. The drink was a giant chunk of ice that took up the whole cup. I got maybe three drinks out of it before it was empty. Tots were rock solid. The taco was OK. And the Frenchy was burnt. Would not recommend.

### 2/5 — Sadly dwindling.

*2026-05-13, version 25.12.2025090201*

Super upset with the quality and quantity of the food here. The large nachos was laughably smaller than the medium. How do I know? Because Ive ordered the medium many times for myself. Bought the large this time to share with my husband for lunch and we barely got 8 chips each. A quarter scoop of beans at most a a blob of cheese in one spot that was all melted to the wax paper, not the chips. The typical medium is ample filling in the past. Perhaps this is more of the inflation of price and declining quality and quantity citizens need to be avoiding by not eating out anymore. If the price goes higher, the product should at the very least, remain the same.

### 5/5 — Exceptional Service

*2025-11-21, version 25.12.2025090201*

Store 14, Omaha, NE Always provides hot delicious food with exceptional customer service. It doesn’t matter what time I go! My order is always correct. Manager Bre and Asst. manager Shanay have an outstanding staff. They’re always friendly with warm big smiles. It’s obvious that Bre is a great manager. Her staff seems to be enjoy coming to work which is extremely important. What I can see of the cooking area is very clean and organized. I just love the service I receive. This store should be recognized for the excellent service at any given day or time!

### 5/5 — A Gateway to Good Food and Better Decisions (Sometimes)

*2025-01-27, version 24.18.2025011603*

First off, let me say that the Amigos Rewards app is everything I didn’t know I needed in my life. It’s like a little digital bridge that connects me directly to burritos, tacos, and enough crinkle fries to drown my worries. The app is so well-built, it’s almost suspicious. The layout is clean, the buttons are intuitive, and everything just works like it’s supposed to. It’s rare to find an app where you don’t have to wrestle with a glitchy interface or guess where to tap, but this app? Smooth as queso over nachos.

Signing up for the rewards program was easy—I wasn’t asked for my mother’s maiden name or the blood type of my firstborn, just a few details, and I was in. And once you’re in, it’s game over. The app lures you in with its crisp design, easy navigation, and, oh yeah, free food. It’s like Amigos whispered, “What if we gave you tacos AND treated you like royalty?” The rewards system is dangerously straightforward: spend money, earn points, and then exchange those points for the food you were probably going to order anyway. It’s basically the Circle of Life, Tex-Mex edition.

What I really love is how the app doesn’t just get you food—it inspires you to get food. You’ll open it to check your points, and suddenly, you’re craving a Bacon Breakfast Burrito or one of those Mexi Fries, and you weren’t even hungry five minutes ago. It’s like a gateway to indulgence. The app even has exclusive deals, so you’ll convince yourself you’re saving money while ordering your third chimichanga of the week. (Spoiler: You’re not saving money, but your taste buds will thank you.)

Placing an order is seamless. Choose your location, customize your food like a boss (extra guac? double queso? yes, please), and boom, your feast is being prepared while you sit back feeling like a tech-savvy food wizard. The app even remembers your favorite orders, which is both convenient and slightly concerning—Amigos knows my food habits better than my closest friends at this point.

Now let’s talk about the notifications. The app sends these friendly little nudges like, “Hey, remember us? We’ve got a deal on tacos today.” And honestly, it’s like being invited to a party where the only guests are you, a pile of burritos, and happiness. The only downside is that my phone now tempts me with Amigos deals at all hours, but is that really a bad thing?

In conclusion, this app isn’t just a tool—it’s a lifestyle upgrade. It’s a well-built, easy-to-use gateway to good food, great deals, and possibly a mild addiction to Amigos. If you’re an Amigos fan and you haven’t downloaded this yet, I have to question your life choices. 5 stars. Download it, earn points, and thank me later while you’re basking in the glow of your free quesadilla. Just don’t blame me when your lunch budget spirals out of control.”

### 4/5 — Some error

*2025-05-04, version 24.18.2025011603*

I ordered through the app and everything would’ve been fine but the food didn’t have the customizations on it (I.e. meat and cheese only) not sure if this is human error or an error in the app not translating it to the employees properly.

### 4/5 — Deals not included

*2025-02-21, version 24.18.2025011603*

App works great, but doesn’t discount for offers. Kids meals for 399 is not discounted on app. Also any two for cheaper items will be charged at full price for each. like two fish tacos for 749, you will pay the individual price, so that’s frustrating and it’s cheaper to just order at the window.
