Over all not bad but in app purchases are kinda dumb especially if it’s an app for copying nfc tags to amiibos. Like I already bought the tags and now they expect me to buy the software. Never regretted getting it, works amazing. No matter how many .bin files I try it won’t open them. Even ones I opened before. When I choose a file and select open it just closes the window but doesn’t actually open them. Do not purchase it!!! All the other reviews are having problems and all the creator does is ask about bin files. I reached out to them before the review to get help and no one bothered to get to the root of the problem all she did was ask if I have the correct bin files, well guess what, I’ve used the amiibo bin files on many other amiibo apps and none of the other ones give me problems to write new ones. And yes before you comment, I’m using the correct Ntag cards, because I know that’ll be another one of your responses. Just excuses and blaming the customer when you released a fake app that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. **Developer response:** Please contact me before and send me a video to explain your problem with more details. It’s on App Store app description. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-02-10, version 4.1* This app is very basic, with (slightly) slower updates, but still faster than I was expecting. Overall, if you want to buy the premium($1) it is very worth it. ### 5/5 — The best one to start with *2025-12-15, version 4.0.3* This app is not the best in it’s category, but almost all other apps have way higher prices, this one has great value. And the interface is very nice and intuitive too. Also the app is not dependent on a app update to support more amiibo, it does that in-app (and it is very good), I only have 2 small issues with it: 1. The icon does not have a dark mode (nor alternatives) 2. With the in-app ‘Check for Updates’ feature, it quickly supports the latest amiibo, so I can use it with peace of mind. ### 5/5 — Underrated App – Affordable, Functional, and Easy to Use *2025-07-06, version 4.0.3* This Amiibo NFC app is genuinely underrated. While I don’t usually support in-app purchases, the 99p price point here is actually very reasonable — especially when compared to similar apps that charge far more for basic functionality. The design is clean, the interface is intuitive, and it’s incredibly easy to use. You can both scan and write Amiibo data with no fuss. I’m currently using cheap NFC tags, and they work perfectly with this app. It’s also nice as a collector guide to keep track of your Amiibo’s. That said, it does lack support for a handful of Amiibos, which is the only real downside. Hopefully, future updates will address this. Overall, a great tool for anyone interested in Amiibo backups or NFC. Highly recommended despite the minor limitations. ### 5/5 — Works great and very inexpensive! *2025-06-27* This App works just as well as every other app in the App Store and, yes, I tried them all. It has a huge advantage as it’s (currently) only 99 cents! I’ve used it read and write many NFC tags - including Amiibos - and have had zero issues. I’m going to assume that the people who have left negative feedback either are competitors, people with hardware problems or people who don’t have a clue as to how technology works. This app is fantastic!
