Please update to the latest version. It keeps telling me to update to the newer versions, and keeps giving me an “Invalid Request”. It keeps telling me to update to the newer version, but when I go to the App Store I can’t do jack. I feel like they should always have to explain why they put a strike on you. I still can’t text and it’s been a day now, I don’t understand why they put me in a strike and I don’t like that you can’t see how long the strike lasts. If I had a reason by the community leader it would be different but I had just joined the community and now I can’t text anymore in other communities as well. I have two amino communities, one has 33K the other has 17k members. I wish I could delete both of them. This is disgusting. Update July 2025.The latest update has large ads that obstruct the name of the community. It is unusable now. I will delete this app from my Apple products and install the older version on android. Narvil has ruined this app. They should sell it before It is completely worthless. ### 2/5 — This used to be a great app.. *2025-07-01, version 3.34.0* This app used to be great, it worked when it was supposed to and had many active communities, but I think the countless bugs and issues with getting the app to work has really made it much worse. Instead of focusing on just getting it to work properly, instead they add new content. Not to mention the coins feature is practically uselesss. The most aggravating change however, is the ai recognition. It will falsely flag posts constantly and get you muted for a day, all while it takes about a week do actually appeal which means if you didn’t post anything wrong, you still have to go the whole day. This is really infuriating as someone who posts art often, and I wish there was a way that it would warn you before you post it that it’s flagged before just straight up letting you post it then muting you right after. It wouldn’t even be as much as an issue but they are not timely in responding to appeals either which always has me worried I could be banned for posting something that doesn’t even violate any guidelines and has forced me to move to different apps to promote art. ### 4/5 — Awesome app but is kinda glitchy *2025-07-01, version 3.34.0* I love using amino! It’s just the app can be glitchy sometimes! For example it’ll work perfectly when I use the app on my iPad but when I use it on my phone it doesn’t work! This has led to the app being really glitchy with no signs of hope. ### 1/5 — Minors Don’t Use *2025-07-23, version 3.35.0* All of the support work has now been outsourced and the trust and safety team has been axed completely. This means you can’t trust that dangerous content is being moderated properly anymore. The app breaks frequently, less effort goes into it by the year, it’s clear that MediaLabs was not willing to take care of the property they’ve acquired, nor have they cared that they’re driving this app into the dirt. It’s a shame, because Amino is very unique. I feel like app itself is good even with glitches and bugs. But it just there moderation is so bad that it allows bad user to the platform. It doesn't protect there young users for being groomer or exploited. Which is bad since a lot fandoms on this app use to thrive in being a lot people could share there interests and make friends.
