This update turns any photo, screenshot, or sketch into pixel art — or a guide to draw over.

Paste Image as Layer
Copy any image to your clipboard and paste it right into your canvas. The app instantly pixelizes it to match your canvas size and drops it in as a new layer. Choose from full color, grayscale, or outline-only mode. On Mac, just hit ⇧⌘V.

Import from Photos & Files
Don't have it on your clipboard? Pick an image straight from your photo library on iPhone and iPad, or from any file on your Mac. Same three modes — color, grayscale, and outline.

Outline Tracing
This one's a game-changer. Paste or import any image as an "Outline Only" and the app detects the edges between different-colored regions, drawing thin guide lines right on your canvas. It's like placing tracing paper over a reference image. Draw on top of it, then clear the overlay when you're done.

Mirror Drawing
Draw with automatic symmetry! Turn on horizontal, vertical, or 4-way mirroring and watch your art reflect itself in real time. It's perfect for faces, characters, butterflies, mandalas, and all sorts of patterns. Once you try it, you'll use it on everything.

Shape Tools
Draw perfect pixel lines, rectangles, and circles with a single drag. Toggle between filled and outline mode to get exactly the shape you need. Combined with mirroring, you can build complex designs in seconds.

More Canvas Sizes
New presets for 24×24, 48×48, and everything in between. You can also create a custom canvas up to 128×128 pixels — perfect for detailed scenes, game sprites, or larger artwork.

Transform & Shift
Flip your art horizontally or vertically, rotate 90° clockwise, or shift every pixel in any direction. Great for experimenting and trying new compositions.

New Welcome Screen
The app opens to a beautiful home screen showing all your recent drawings with thumbnail previews. Tap any one to jump right back in, or start a new canvas in a single tap.
