Amplo reads your connections like a heart monitor.

Type a host and port — a game server, an API, a home NAS — and Amplo opens a single connection, times the round trip, and closes it. Every measurement lands as a beat on a live, phosphor-green waveform: green when it's fast, amber when it drags, red when it stalls.

After sixty beats you get the numbers that matter — median, 95th- and 99th-percentile latency (your typical, bad, and worst-case), jitter and packet loss — in tidy monospaced columns, so you can compare servers at a glance. Line two up side by side and Amplo runs a quick significance test: is one really faster, or did it just feel that way? A seven-day chart shows how each server behaves through the day.

A small reflex game even measures your own reaction time, so you can tell the network's lag from yours. Everything stays on your device — Amplo measures, it never connects for you.
