## Newest reviews (7 of 27)

### 2/5 — Had such high hopes

*2025-11-30, version 2.1.1*

Have to pay to use - and then honestly couldn’t tell you what I was paying for. Would get the match countdown till Sundays and then find no matches. Had a couple of random matches that didn’t respond. Also - need a height filter

### 1/5 — Very limited catchpool

*2025-02-25, version 1.6.3*

The idea of the app is great but charging people for 1 match a month and a loose match at that is rubbish. Not enough people using this to make it worthwhile

### 3/5 — No users & have to pay to chat

*2025-01-24, version 1.5.8*

Got one match originally but since then have got none. Have been on the app for about a month. Would have had to pay if I wanted to chat anyway.

I know it’s hard to gain users, but making people pay to message isn’t going to entice people in either.

### 1/5 — Boring App

*2024-12-01, version 1.5.4*

No matches

### 3/5 — Sign in

*2024-11-14, version 1.5.0*

Couldn’t even sign it because it was glitching, was hoping for a good dating app…

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2024-10-10, version 1.4.5*

Have to pay for everything. Interactions/options are very low. Comes across as being a lot more involved with match making but in reality…. No sunshine or rainbows

### 1/5 — Messaging is rubbish

*2024-06-29, version 1.3.3*

Messaging system doesn’t work even if you subscribe

Messages don’t get sent or they just disappear

While conversations seem to be inaccessible

Doesn’t seem to work at all

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of time and money

*2025-12-12, version 2.1.4*

The premise is good, sure. But waiting a whole week for a single match?? That may or may not be any good?
All of the matches I got were severe personality clashes or mismatched worldviews.
I’d rather swipe through tinder

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2025-12-02, version 2.1.2*

Don’t wastes your time.
Things you get for free:
- Random matches
- Their basic info, name, age, job title, pets/drinking/smoking etc
- One (1) message, no reply, no second message, just one singular message, so make sure you drop your social media handle so you can actually talk to someone

Everything else you have to pay for:
- Their profile picture
- Their profile bio
- Sending more than one (1) message to someone

$30 per month, how ridiculous
L

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2025-10-24, version 2.0.4*

Can’t get in, what’s going on ! Screen does not load up and display.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2025-06-30, version 1.8.6*

Waste of time

### 1/5 — Feedback

*2025-06-25, version 1.8.5*

The worst dating app I have been on so far
One match , who has not responded or been online for a few days. Seems like he is a fake. I have stopped my subscription

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-06-06, version 1.8.1*

This app is no different to any other app, in fact worse. Hardly any matches and then you have to wait until Sundays for further matches! Then once you have a match after the free trial you can’t communicate with them on the app. They try to say you’re matched by your answers etc but still doesn’t work. Total waste of time.

### 1/5 — Shocking

*2025-05-18, version 1.7.6*

Money taken, still locked, emailed, no reply and then when weekly matches still locked. Awaiting a refund, please be warned and avoid

### 1/5 — Doesn’t make sense

*2025-05-10, version 1.7.6*

I get the concept but is it working. I doubt itZ. One match in 3 weeks. I don’t call that working.

### 1/5 — Time wasting app.

*2025-04-25, version 1.7.3*

Using this app for 10 months. Like the concept of app. Unfortunately after filling all requirements and using paid version did not receive any like or not able to see profile. Suggestion do not use paid not worth it.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2025-04-20, version 1.7.3*

Made my profile, got everything set up, oh what’s that? I need to wait till Sunday, a 6 whole days until I get a match? Sure I can do that. And then come Sunday, I logged back on as the timer expired and… Nothing happened, no matches, nothing going on, and only then it’s revealed that you need a subscription to see anyone you could potentially match with, and knowing the dating scene these days the conversation won’t even go anywhere. Disappointing

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — By far the best dating app available

*2024-11-15, version 1.5.0*

If you are serious about meeting someone special, get serious about Amor, highly recommend

### 5/5 — Easy to use, clever in how it works

*2024-09-28, version 1.4.3*

Amor seems to tick the boxes in terms of both functionality and matching algorithms. As its becomes more widely known I am sure it will become even more successful

### 5/5 — Disappointed

*2024-08-11, version 1.3.9*

Honestly concept of the app is really good, however. That’s all the positives I can say
Gotta pay $30 a month get do anything. You get maybe 1-2 matches a week most of the time people don’t reply probably cause you gotta pay or no one worth talking to or no matches. Everyone I’ve matched don’t talk or haven’t been online in over 3-5 days. Not sure what you’re paying for then

### 5/5 — Love the concept

*2024-08-03, version 1.3.8*

Love the concept, so far just like every other app, no one seems to respond 😭

I think having more control over deal breakers would be good, I set children as one of mine - but I’m unclear if that means having children or wanting children, I have kids a definitely don’t want more.

### 5/5 — App with great concept and lots of potential

*2024-07-22, version 1.3.7*

I love the concept of Amor, as it has a different approach to other dating apps being that compatibility is about values and personality profiling. Which in itself refreshing and gives one hope, in the difficult world of online dating, that they will find someone they are compatible with eventually (a lot more likely with Amor!).

There are not enough app users in my region yet, but I still get matches and have a taste of what’s to come which is very exciting.

I’m looking forward to Amor as it grows and develops further :)

### 5/5 — Real online dating

*2024-07-13, version 1.3.6*

Real connections based on values, personality and emotional connection. It will change your online dating experience and you’ll no longer need to swipe left.

### 5/5 — Human touch

*2024-07-07, version 1.3.6*

Emily and her team are genuine in their pursuit of connecting people. In the single event I had a very minor technical glitch, the problem solving was lightening quick. The human touch sets the Amor team apart. Unfortunately I’m limited to 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Amazing dating App! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

*2024-07-03, version 1.3.6*

After using other dating apps and now coming onto this one, it has been such a game changer! Definitely feels like the algorithm works for finding love 😁

### 5/5 — Really good dating app. Much better than Tinder, Bumble and Hinge!

*2024-06-09, version 1.2.5*

This app may be a bit laggy or glitchy, but it’s new and still being improved which is understandable.

I like the idea behind this app where you don’t get to swipe left or right on someone, instead you’re instantly matched with someone of similar personality and also the fact that it doesn’t reveal ur each others photos right away takes away our bias/judgement of someones physical appearance. This gives each other a chance at getting know each other through conversation which is what Tinder, Bumble and Hinge lacks.
This is probably the only dating app where you could possibly meet someone genuine or interesting.

### 4/5 — Brilliant

*2024-06-20, version 1.2.7*

Amor is a breeze compared to other dating sites. And including Myers-Briggs personality type indicator in the matchmaking is a brilliant impulse. Knowing several different dating sites (FSO, EliteSingles, Tinder, and a few more less famous), I feel this is going to be the place to be for singles.

Having said that, this new app still has a few glitches, but the driving force behind it (Emily) was keen to help me out. My Myers-Briggs type indicator turned out slightly different from assessments I did in the past. And there are two or three more minor issues, but these will be taken care of, I presume.

Don’t let the self-assessment put you off. Yes it takes a couple of minutes, but it is required to perform best matching.

Due to Amor’s short history, the pond we’re fishing in is still quite empty. But the snowball only just started rolling. It’s only a matter of time.

Happy dating folks!
