## What is Amparo?

Amparo is the period and cycle tracker built around one principle: your data is yours alone.

No cloud. No servers. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. Everything you log stays on your iPhone — encrypted, private, and under your control.

In a world where period apps have been subpoenaed, sold to data brokers, and breached, Amparo takes a different approach: nothing leaves your device. Ever.

— PRIVACY BY DESIGN —

Amparo doesn't collect data because there's no server to send it to. We can't read your information, share it, sell it, or hand it to anyone — because we never have it in the first place. The only place your cycle history exists is on the device in your hand.

— PHASE INTELLIGENCE —

Most cycle apps just tell you what day it is. Amparo tells you what your body is actually doing. Each day, get hormonal context, energy guidance, workout recommendations tuned to your phase, foods that support you, mental strengths you can lean into, and gentle medical watchpoints — all grounded in cycle physiology, not horoscopes.

— LIVE ACTIVITIES & DYNAMIC ISLAND —

Your cycle day in the Dynamic Island. A glanceable cycle ring on your home screen and lock screen. See where you are without opening an app.

— SIRI & SHORTCUTS —

Hands-free check-ins. "Am Par Oh, what day am I on?" "Am Par Oh, when's my next period?" "Am Par Oh, log period started." All processed entirely on-device — Siri never phones home with your cycle data.

— SMART INSIGHTS —

Beautiful Swift Charts visualizations of your basal body temperature, cycle length variation, energy patterns, and which symptoms cluster in which phase. Track patterns over time without sharing them with anyone.

— FACE ID LOCK —

Optional biometric lock so your cycle stays private even if your phone is unlocked. Activate in Settings.

— EXPORT YOUR DATA —

CSV export anytime. It's your data — no lock-in, no walled garden.

— ONE-TIME PURCHASE —

$4.99, once. No subscriptions. No premium tier. No ads. Every feature, forever.

If you've been paying $12.99/month for a cycle app that monetizes your most sensitive data, Amparo is the alternative.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-05

Your data now stays on your iPhone, and Amparo does a lot more with it.

• Kept Out of iCloud Backup: your data is no longer included in iCloud Backup unless you choose to include it.
• Move to a New iPhone: send everything straight to your new iPhone by AirDrop, locked with a one-time code.
• Bring Your History: import your past periods from Apple Health, Clue, or Flo, with a preview before anything is added.
• Doctor Visit Summary: a PDF of your cycles, patterns, and temperatures to share with a clinician.
• Your Patterns: see when your symptoms usually arrive, with an optional heads-up the morning before.
• Smarter predictions that show how confident they are, with a late period shown as late.
• Cycle observations for irregular cycles, long gaps, and changing cycle lengths.
• Temperature Confirmation: if you log your waking temperature, see when ovulation likely happened, looking back.
• Discreet Mode now covers notifications, and new app icons don't look like a cycle tracker.
• Keep My History: automatically delete entries older than a period you choose.
• Quick Log Widget: log your period, flow, and symptoms right from your Home Screen.
• Siri keeps your cycle private while your iPhone is locked.
• A fresh look, with colors that follow your cycle, playful animations, and support for larger text.
• A new app icon, with dark, tinted, and clear versions for your Home Screen.
