## What is AMPCO Events?

AMPCO Events is the official companion app for AMPCO Contracting's Catalina Island Weekend, September 11-13, 2026 — three days of charter boats, island activities, and evening events in Avalon.

Cell coverage on the island is unreliable and the weekend runs on a tight schedule. This app keeps the whole plan in your pocket, on Pacific time, whether or not you have a signal.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW
The Today screen shows what's on right now and what's coming up next, with a live countdown to the next departure.

THE FULL WEEKEND
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday laid out hour by hour. Tap any item for the address, meeting point, what to expect, and one-tap directions in Apple Maps. Add anything to your own calendar.

BOATS, SHUTTLES, AND PARKING
Charter departure times from Newport Beach, island shuttle schedules, parking directions, and boarding instructions — the logistics that are easiest to lose track of.

NEVER MISS A DEPARTURE
Optional reminders before boats, shuttles, and events, plus live updates from the AMPCO team when a time changes or a meeting point moves.

ASK THE CONCIERGE
A built-in assistant answers questions about departure times, parking, venues, and what to pack, instead of hunting through a PDF.

BEFORE YOU PACK
A black-and-white guide for Saturday evening, a packing checklist, island activity information, and a map of every venue.

SILENT AUCTION PREVIEW
Browse the auction lots on display that weekend before you see them in person. Bidding happens in person on paper bid sheets — the app does not run the auction or collect bids.

WORKS OFFLINE
The weekend ships inside the app. Open it once and everything is available with no signal.

The live event benefits Stars & Stripes Children's Foundation. This app does not sell tickets, collect donations, process payments, or offer games.
