### 2/5 — Fake test data?

*2026-06-01*

I doubt the test data. Even after changing the cable and testing under different conditions, I still got almost the same results. This is surprising because I know the performance of the faulty cable was not good.

**Developer response:** Hello. Did you go all the way with the test, or judged by the preliminary result, visible immediately? You will have to let system to test it for 15-30 minutes per test to see correct data. Regards, Andre

### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone as advertised

*2025-05-05, version 4.0.23*

Just bought this to test charger and cable that seems to be slow. Have an iPhone and as soon as you open app you are warned app now longer works as expected and have to accept disclaimer to proceed (which I did not). Apparently feature app uses for most functionality are not available on modern versions of iOS so does not operate at all as you’d expect from screenshots.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t give rate of charge

*2025-04-05, version 4.0.23*

While this app has several effective functions, I bought it to see the rate of battery charging. It doesn’t do that.

### 2/5 — Useless on newer iOS

*2025-04-01, version 4.0.23*

Seriously in need of update

### 1/5 — Slow and useless

*2025-02-24, version 4.0.23*

Slower than molasses. Waited 10-20 minutes and test was still running. Don’t waste your money. If I could give zero stars I would.

### 4/5 — Probando

*2024-12-02, version 4.0.23*

### 1/5 — Fraudulent Aop

*2024-11-26, version 4.0.23*

Developer ONLY tells you after purchase that Apple has greatly reduced their ability to perform metrics on your devices battery. So you get nothing, while they already have your money.

### 2/5 — Omisión de información

*2024-11-06, version 4.0.23*

### 1/5 — Shady/Fraudulent app acitivity

*2024-10-28, version 4.0.23*

I bought this app last August of 2024 and now it recently tried to charge me additional payment (October), nothing in the description tells that it is a subscription based app and even if it did why charge a month late??? it also doesn’t show in any of apples subscription list, good thing I have my card locked so the transaction did not went through, I Imagine I’m not the only one that experienced this.

App worked great btw but this activity by the application is real shady and fraudulent.

### 1/5 — It does work but bery biased

*2024-10-06, version 4.0.23*

It is for sure working as it should be. But the very core of this app is restricted by IOS 17 and so on. Therefore, anyone whow wants to buy this probably better of using an external monitor to check their input power. No joke the app just monitor your battery percentage (at a range and not on point!) and the do some calculations to determine between the time and how much your battery has been charged. I don’t think there is something technical in that. Even I can calculate that just need the formula of time and how much it charged. It was so silly I feel like this app is a scam in a way. So even though it works, it still is a scam. For your sake, DO NOT BUY!

### 1/5 — Nutzlos (iOS17)

*2024-09-24*

Danke! Andre

### 3/5 — Great at testing chargers, but timer alert is off

*2024-06-01, version 4.0.22*

I have found the app great at testing wireless charging, but with a few issues.

Others have mentioned that when testing, you get no indication how far along the testing is.

In addition, after clicking start., it can take awhile (enough to charge 5%) before the test actually starts running.

Lastly, it’s really important when comparing chargers to test them at the same battery % on the phone (since iPhones charge slower at higher %). There is a timer function to alert you when the battery hits a certain % to account for this. Unfortunately when I set mine at 30%, it alerts me at 26%. Not so helpful.

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2026-07-28, version 4.5.3*

Unless if I am doing something utterly wrong, this app does not measure anything at all. I understand the limitation with iOS not supplying info, and that the app has to use calculations to estimate (I accept this), however every single charger and cables reports the same 9-11W charging range. At the end of the test, some show 21W, some others 10.2 (or something similar, doesn’t matter it seems), but sometimes for the same charger and brick. Not sure how the charger reads 9-11W fluctuating the whole test, than 21W after. All tests are beneath 60% battery charger, well beneath the 80%. You would be better off timing the percentage change manually than trusting this app, since it doesn’t even explain the discrepancies. And yes I got the paid Ampere 4 app. No support forum anywhere online. So if you are looking to sort through your bag of old cables me charges, you’d be better off just calculating how many minutes per percentage increase your battery gets manually. Otherwise this test app is more confusing than helpful.

### 1/5 — not useful

*2026-07-18, version 4.5.3*

this amp does not do real power, voltage and current monitoring, just does an estimate

### 1/5 — Not working if you have IOS 17+ it’s just rubbish!

*2026-07-07, version 4.5.3*

Takes to long to get the test started and then it takes around 20-25 minutes to complete a test that will show a wrong value.

### 1/5 — Learn to Develop an App

*2026-06-21, version 4.5.2*

Stop selling your poor developments if they can’t work efficiently. It’s not right to be ripping people off. And the app has no real features. I rather deal with the adds than to deal with the lies this app provides.

### 1/5 — This Application doesn’t work well

*2026-04-12, version 4.5.2*

This Application doesn’t work well, it shows me the same 10-12W charging when I charge by regular 2A charger and by fast charger 40W. It doesn’t its money.

### 1/5 — Schaut nett aus….

*2026-03-28*

Andre

### 1/5 — Why sell it if it doesn’t work for iOS 26?

*2026-03-21, version 4.5.1*

So you download the app, it’s positioned on the store as being compatible with the current operating system, you agree to purchase the app, and the first thing you’re greeted with is “yeah so it stopped working with iOS 16, got worse with 26, and barely works now, thanks for your money”.

It’s extremely difficult to get a reading on a Qi2 charger. Good luck with a Qi1 charger. No way. It took 1 hr and 12 minutes on my Qi2 charger.

### 1/5 — Lentísima

*2025-09-14, version 4.0.23*

### 1/5 — Abzocke

Zum Testen von Ladegeräten aufgrund der Messmethode ÜBERHAUPT NICHT ZU GEBRAUCHEN!

It’s a bummer that Apple doesn’t tell us how powerful a charger is. This app is not a perfect estimate but it’s the best we have

Buy Pro Upgrade

### 5/5 — Works well despite limited / restricted OS functions

*2024-04-20, version 4.0.22*

This is a very well-designed app, giving one accurate estimates of charge voltage and current, despite the limited-to-non-existent ability to directly read these metrics via iOS functions. As of iOS 17 (if not earlier) it works around these by polling for changes in battery charge level, in effect reverse engineering the voltage and current from those changes over time.

### 5/5 — Was awesome !

*2024-03-16, version 4.0.22*

Too bad Apple killed it. 🥲

### 5/5 — E for effort

*2024-02-14, version 4.0.22*

Getting struck down by Apple 🍎. Feels bad.
