Had to use an iPad with an older OS to make it work. I want my money back!!!! ### 1/5 — Works on M1 Macbook on macOS 15 Sequioa *2026-03-08* Just wanted to put it out there that if you have an M1 or later Mac, you download this mobile app and it will work and connect to the pedal on macOS 15 Sequioa. I have not tested it with macOS 26 Tahoe, but I’m not going to test it because the new liquid glass OS has been a train wreck. If this doesn’t work on Tahoe, it is possible to roll back the OS or have a separate drive to boot into an older OS. iPhones and iPads that have updated are stuck forever. WE ARE DONE BUYING HOTONE PRODUCTS. ### 1/5 — Broken app since iOS 18/26 *2026-03-03, version 1.0.3* Ended up selling my multiple Ampero Control pedals because the app hasn't worked since the last release of iOS. The devices show up, but you cannot connect to them. Since there's no way to program them on a computer, and I refuse to keep an older device or Android device around, they were useless to me. I messaged support about once a month to ask for updates. At first, I would get a response saying it was known and being worked on. After a few emails, I stopped receiving responses all together. The app hasn't been updated in over two years now. I can’t believe they are still selling this when the app doesn’t work. It’s not functional without the app so IMO still selling it worse than vapourware; it’s theft. I had a similar experience with their Xstomp.
