The local office in Northampton has generally been available to answer questions and help with practical issues. The office staff are always helpful and courteous, and the audiologists knowledge and patient. The post-purchase help is practical and appreciated, with reminders given as to when follow ups are required. Though the initial cost of the hearing aids is not cheap, the advantages of having state of the art hearing aids is worth the cost and leaves this person a satisfied customer. Since iPhone updates to the latest IOS 17.5 the aids will not ‘talk’ to my phone so the app is not available to select features and manage the aids. Given the cost of these I believe Amplifon should not be 4 weeks in catching up with IOS app changes and should be communicating with us as to what we can expect when. I am very disappointed with the service. ### 1/5 — App is worthless *2023-01-19* This is NOT a review for the hearing aids themselves. The app itself gets ZERO stars because it never connects to my hearing aids! I can use the Bluetooth just fine to talk on the phone so this is not a hardware issue. I have also verified with an Amplifon rep that this is a known problem. If you know it’s a problem then FIX IT!! I have had multiple other brands of hearing aids and none of them have had an issue connecting to their app. Amplifon, you should be embarrassed by to put your name on this app. ### 1/5 — Avoid this app *2022-07-13, version 3.5.0* Worst app I have used with hearing aids. The wearing time is not accurate. Setting your own programs creates a glitch and drops all the programs. My set programmes drop off intermittently. Small print says it doesn’t work with some iPhones - why not? And is still being developed and will offer lots of options in the future. I can’t believe this app has been released for public use it is so poor.
