I was able to use card control up until this month now it’s asking for me to download the app which I have done but still cannot access my card control to unlock my card. It’s like it don’t even exist. Pleas fix the bugs on this app still have not been able to access the app ### 5/5 — PVL *2024-09-10* This app allows me to get push notifications of debit card activity which allowed me to block my card from fraudulent transactions. ### 4/5 — Update: app is good for viewing charges in real time *2024-03-26* I originally wrote a review (which I can't find anymore) which stated I didn't see any value in this app beyond what Apple wallet already gives me. I now realize that this app will tell me when a charge is being made in real time, which is very useful. ### 2/5 — Poor user communication and UI *2024-02-17* I had trouble logging in and finally had to come here to see a review of someone with the same problem and the developer's response of "I know it's a bit tricky to login" and with the steps on how to do it, which were easy. How about putting that information in the freaking app in the first place? Instead of making me type in a long credit card number which can introduce transcription errors, how about using the camera to automatically scan the card number? Or how about grabbing that information from Apple wallet since the cards are in there already? To be honest, I don't see what this app gets me over using the Apple wallet that has worked so well for me ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-09-21* Same as other reviews. Try to sign in, allows me to login thru the mobile app and never does anything or takes me back to this app. ### 1/5 — Unable to Login *2023-06-30* I downloaded this app to manage my travel alerts. When trying to login, I’m redirected to the Amplify App and nothing happens. When I try to login directly, it says my credentials are invalid (likely because they’re for the banking app and not this one.) I hope they’re able to fix this login issue because these services would be very convenient. What would be even more convenient is to have these services all in one app though ;) **Developer response:** Hi there! We’re sorry you’re having some trouble accessing the Amplify Mobile Card Control app – we know it can be a little tricky logging in for the first time, which is why we created a step-by-step walkthrough in our Help Center (help.goamplify.com). The short version in, the Amplify Mobile Card Control app uses online banking to authenticate your Amplify credentials, so you have to log in from inside online banking to push those credentials through. The two steps are: A) log into the online banking app, and B), click the ‘Card Control’ menu item in online banking. This will open up the Amplify Mobile Card Control app and begin the authentication process. Follow the process as outlined and you should be good to go! Right now, these are two separate systems, but we do hope we’ll be able to consolidate those down at some point in the future. Even changed it online and still would not accept it or recognize it.
