And i can’t use the app at all because the recorder is muting the fx. That alone is the stupidest app design decision, allow the recorder take over the whole app. I can’t back up the files because i have a pc. My only option is to delete the app so i can use it again. I bought a Tonex Pedal, iRig, iRig HD USB, Axe I/O, Axe I/O One, and I pre-ordered a Tonex One Pedal. All in, I’ve spent more than $1,200 on equipment and software. On my computer, I have nearly every pedal, amp and cabinet available, so then I moved on to getting my “mobile” rig in order. I download AmpliTube on my iPad and iPhone, logged into my account, registered every serial number I have into the app, hooked up my iRig, choose a preset, and a window popped up saying I need to spend more money on in-app purchases. I also cant do loops or record more than two tracks without getting the same pop up telling me I need to spend more money. I choose a different cabinet … pop up window asking for more money. I choose a different amp … pop up window asking for more money. I pick a different pedal … pop up window asking for more money. I wrote the company, and they said (in summary), the iPad and iPhone apps are different, and I have to pay for these items again. I even asked if they could provide me a serial number to unlock the features as a courtesy given how much I’ve spent to unlock them on my computer. They said no. Despite being the same company, using the same account, and using the same hardware interfaces, they will charge you twice if you want to use your stuff in this app as well. ### 1/5 — No funciona en iPad pro 3ra generación *2023-09-25, version 4.14.2* No reconoce el canal de una interfaz fast track, lo cual si pasa con garage band y con la aplicación tonex que al parecer también es de IK multimedia. Seguí el troubleshooting de la página y nada sirvió.. no hay alguien que te de soporte, es un muy mal servicio al cliente. There is gear not included in the iPad version that you get in the Mac version that you need to buy separate. It goes for all of the packages. It blows my mind. All in should be all in. But the sims sound great so there’s that, I guess. This company literally takes back features and increases frustration on purpose. Their UI UX is a mess by design. Avoid like the plague. If you want to stay in iOS get Bias FX 1 or 2 with Bias Amp 2 while you still can or look for GigFast for .nam use complete with gate, drive, chorus, stereo echo and reverb. ### 1/5 — Where is my MARSHALL BRANDED Slash gear I paid for!!!??! *2026-02-17, version 4.14.5* This developer has gotten super lame. From adding and subtracting stuff from this app. To updates that are absolutely worthless, that sometimes happen a year or two between. Gear that I had paid for, suddenly disappears and is rebranded without any explanation or a heads up that this is happening. If you guys have licensing issues, that’s your own problem, what we paid for we should still be able to keep . I’m not happy with this whatsoever. I use it inside Cubasis3 as IAA, but I wish it could be upgraded to AUv3 because I like to play more than one guitar part in a project, I usually freeze my first recorded GTR track and open another track using AT, but any changes required to the first GTR part would mean closing the second instance of AT, then unfreeze the first track and so on and on……. Fantastico, non tornerò mai indietro ### 5/5 — Great recording tool for on the go artists *2020-12-13, version 4.11.0* I don’t know what all the complaints are about AmpliTube on iPad. I had no problems using this app, lots of free stomp boxes and great selection of free amps as well . I have a fender tube amp that I barely touched since acquiring this app. I use it with a iRig 2 interface and am currently purchasing the iRig acoustic amd the iRig Pre so I can record with my condensed mic. I also purchased the 8 track recorder but I wish I had more information on how to use it . I use the AmpliTube CS on my iPhone and the AmpliTube on my iPad mini . Does anybody know what the difference is ? ### 5/5 — Top quality guitar effects *2020-12-05, version 4.11.0* Why this doesn’t have 5 out of 5 is beyond me. Ok you have to buy the Fender, Orange amps etc but they are very high quality. Better than most guitar amp sims I’ve bought on a computer tbh. All the pedals are great too and the Univibe in the Hendrix bundle is unbelievably good. If in doubt, check out Greg Koch playing around with the amps on YouTube. Now, do I buy Mixbox too.... hmmmmmm... probably ### 5/5 — Brilliant App Ignore The Negative Reviews *2020-07-20, version 4.11.0* I’ve now got the Brian May and Joe Satriani bundles. They are amazing and you’re getting a lot for your money. The people complaining either don’t know how it works properly or are expecting far too much from a iPad app. For example the Brian May bundle has 3 Vox AC30s the Deacy amp as well as the Kat Treble Booster. That’s £1000s of pounds worth of gear replicated for just over £20.
