I'm on iphone 16 pro. Sometimes when I click a track or a button, the audio I had recorded randomly disappears, never to be seen again. The WORST kind of bug. And no way to get it back. Too bad because otherwise this is amazing.

Do not spend money on this app, developer no longer supports this app or the CS version. They will still take your money, so beware. No update for iOS 16 even though that was 6months ago now. App will not work properly with current iOS

This app does not work well on iPhone 12 with iOS 16.x. 

The audio and the interface have lots of glitches and you loose (because the audio becomes inaudible - with glitches and loose synchronization of channels) all your saved sessions when you update.

IK Multimedia support was contacted, took a week to respond, and they said they were aware of the problems and were working on the issue. It was OCTOBER/2022. No updates from them since that time.

So I recommend to users to NOT BUY it if you have iOS 16 and above. Or you’ll loose your money.

It hisses, the Tracks play too fast in the normal mode, it was barely passable a few years ago but now not usable. The only thing I sunk money into was iRig and that broke with a few months of ownership.

アプリに入れていたバッキングトラックの音程が、再生中にどんどん変わってしまって使い物になりません。

I installed an update on my Iphone, and then the metronome on my AmpliTube would not work anymore. The scroll disappeared. Also the playback through phone speaker is muddy and distorted. Still sounds fine through Irig. Very disappointed and confused. Any help out there?

Ho iniziato a usare questo software su Mac e negli ha fatto parecchi passi avanti. Il software meriterebbe tranquillamente 5 stelle ma il fatto che se avete acquistato dei pacchetti su dispositivi iOS questi non possano essere usati anche su computer la trovo una roba da medioevo. Rispondere che sono due cose diverse mi sembra anche la più pessima delle scuse, ormai la maggior parte dei software e app professionali si basano su un account che permette di usare la stessa app ci computer o dispositivi portatile, anche in numero limitato, ma si può fare. Oltretutto non esiste nemmeno una qualche agevolazione che permette a chi già possessore della licenza (iOS o OSX) di poter poter accedere alle stesse cose da dispositivi diversi. PATETICI!

I am a long time user of this app and found it to be the best guitar amp app for me. I got this app when I was 13 (I’m 23 now so 10 years) so I could play my guitar without bothering anyone else. I think I paid $20-$30 for this app too so I really hoped it worked great. Sure enough, it was a godsend and I loved just how simple the app was while having many options for tones. 

But recently, when I open the app, I get this strange intense buzzing or popping sound which makes it impossible to play my guitar. It even makes these noises even when the guitar is not playing. I’ve tried to delete the app and redownload it and try other apps like BIAS and GarageBand to see if it was the iRig adapter (it wasn’t). The problem lies within this app. I have also noticed that the developers do not update this app regularly which makes it frustrating when I update to a new iOS and the app crashes on the new firmware. Until the developers can figure out a more regular update schedule and fix the problem that I have with the app, I think I will be usin

This, overall, is a fantastic app. I have purchased a few of the bundles, and the sounds are very good. Would I say this is professional software? Maybe not, but it is incredibly good for demos. I live in Nashville and a lot of my friends work in the business, and I play demos I recorded on this for them for fun, and they are always impressed. but please… this software no longer plays back music after the last iOS update. Please fix ASAP! I will increase my rating and that happens.

This app worked for about a year almost a decade ago until it started constantly crashing, spewing terrible static, etc. it can't be chalked up as something wrong with the interfaces I've used, as they've all been IK MM interfaces.

I must stupid, because I've bought several IK MM apps, their add-ons, and various interfaces, include guitar and MIDI keyboard controllers. Those were complete garbage, too.

Steer clear of anything made by IK MM.

I'm on iphone 16 pro. Sometimes when I click a track or a button, the audio I had recorded randomly disappears, never to be seen again. Also the sample rate randomly changes sometimes, so you'll be working on a song and the next time you open the project all the music has shifted keys! Amazingly bad.

The "Swell" pedal sounds great when I am recording INTO the phone. When I play BACK from the phone, the app did not apply the effect correctly to the track. It just just chops out. Unfortunately, the SUPPORT link is fake.

The tuner inside the app is completely weird now, as it cannot analyze notes at all.

And this is also the case with the standalone UltraTuner app. Seems like these issues have appeared after I switched to IOS 16. 

And yet any other tuner from the App Store still works flawlessly. By the way, why is the UltraTuner standalone no longer available on the app store, even hough youre still advertising it on your website?

I have been using the app for years, primarily as a tool to practice music for my live band.  The feature to import songs from your phone music library no longer works.  The songs now import at a sped up rate with distortion and poor sound quality.  I have to actually slow down the sonf speed to get the tempo correct, and the sound is pixilated and garbled.

I have tried :deleting and redownloading the app, and even tried other version of the AmpliTube app and they all have the same problem.  Now looking for a new app.

I have been using various versions of AmpliTube but I’m a Fender guy to my core. Love the blackface amps and the ‘65 Super Reverb is lush, glassy, chimy, everything you want in a vintage Fender without the risk of pithing off the neighbors. And at a fraction of the cost of a real amp.

This app should really be at like 4.5 average stars. Not sure what issues the others have. I’ve used this for probably 7 years now, and love it. I use with iRig I/O or iRig HD 2. I have made some amazing tones, which I record to garage band via inter-app connection.

Update a few years later:

This app should be 5 stars. All those griping about in app purchases I don’t know what to say. If you used the app as much as I have you would have paid a tiny tiny fraction of what the total cost is now, anyways. The important thing is that I could get the most amazing metal tones with just a few of the features, so no, you don’t need all the pedals. Great app- I love it.

This is really cheap for what you get if you add all the different tools, pedals, amps, etc,.
I love it and yes... please be mindful that you have to unlock/pay for a lot of items to have access on all that is on the app, but the value is incredible... also have a updated/newer iPhone as old phones can’t process what is needed and you will have tracks not lined up or even cutting out. Best to buy the bundles of everything included after you decide to invest, costs more but you won’t get nickel and dimed along the way when you want something else on the app!

Works great on my newer iPad with the I/O stomp.  Sounds are sweet.  Highly recommend.  I bought a package with lots of effects which makes it great. Prefer it over my Boss GT10!
