That said, I primarily used Pocket Prep for my MBLEx studying. I also used two prep books and some of my text books (texts were light review). I finished all the Pocket Prep questions and I’ve been told by many classmates that this app is all they used. We’ve all passed! Some have already taken the MBLEX, many have passed.. NONE of them have taken a mock exam on this app and passed. I average a 91% on AMTA. I am passing every subject with an 87% or higher. I have answered all 1000 questions. By the time I graduated I had answered around 700/1000 questions offered. In the three weeks between graduating and my test I wore this app out. I continued taking the quizzes until I was getting around 80% each time. By the time I took my MBLEx I had answered all 1000 questions. I love that the app gives you the reasoning behind the right answer. This really helped me understand the “why” behind the correct and incorrect answers. It’s so much more helpful than the standard “wrong answer, next question”. It gives you stats on each subject to help you find your weakest and strongest subjects so you can improve from there. I have been using this app for years as I built up the nerve to take the exam. I studied every day for the past three months and this is the second time I failed my MBLEx exam. This app gave me false hope in believing I understood the information I was ready to take the test. ### 1/5 — Mock Exam *2025-05-10, version 13.21.1* New "Mock Exam" questions are seriously questionable. They're also in need of proofreading. I would not recommend spending your study time taking these "tests." ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for me *2024-09-23, version 13.16.0* I’ve been trying to use this app for this past week to help study while I commute and it never loads and lets me access any study features, the app has too many “bug issues” to be used effectively. The help service in the app is also ineffective as I explained this issue and never received an email ect. Seems like a helpful and useful tool however not in my case. ### 1/5 — Questions *2023-12-28, version 13.10.0* These questions were entirely no help for me studying for the exam. I did NOT fail but the questions on the actual exam is poorly worded and completely irrelevant to these questions. I would leave no stars if possible. Wasted time on an app I can’t get back. Just prepare yourself for what you are not comfortable in. ### 1/5 — Outdated and Opinionated Questions *2023-08-25* I could give a slew of examples of just awful questions in this quiz prep app; but the easiest is the question that answer was that I should go into work on my day off to support the company versus take my day off like usual. Screw that, and no offense, screw this app; there’s a reason these questions are no longer on the actual quiz and it’s because they’re awful. Half the time I don’t know what they’re asking, but after it tells me I’m like oh yeah, but you weren’t asking for that. The other half of the time it’s opinionated baloney, or answers where multiple questions are technically right but you want a specific one. I’ve been working on my temp license almost 6 months now, and my clients love me, I’m able to give knowledge along with pain relief and relaxation; I adore and love my job so much and see myself doing this till the day I die~ But if I don’t pass this test because of the above stated issues with this quiz prep app… You get the picture -_- ### 1/5 — Several answers are WRONG *2019-09-29, version 6.5.6* In the anatomy/kinesiology sections in particular. One that stands out is a question asking about range of motion in the leg, of which the answer is “extensor digitorum”....which is a muscle IN THE ARM. Extensor digitorum longus is in the leg. Obvious errors like this make me wonder how many less obvious mistakes are in this app. I don’t know why my school requires using it but I’ve taken screenshots of the wrong answers I’ve come across and am letting them know this app is lacking in quality control and research. ### 1/5 — Poor *2018-06-02, version 6.4* This app almost never loads anymore. And it NEVER keeps track of the question that I have answered right or wrong. Every time I close it out and come back it's has a different number or has went back to zero. And I'm never able to load the question of the day ### 2/5 — Good and bad *2024-06-04* Has a lot of design in the app that is wonderful. It would be a great study guide—but has way too many bad/trick questions for me to study with and actually learn. You need a way of flagging bad questions so you can improve the experience. Constantly i will select one that is obviously the answer, and then it will give some bull reasoning why it is not the answer. At least 10% of the questions are that way. Like on the last one it said to choose one that is not an outcome, and i chose one that is not an outcome, and it said i was wrong. It was even like “even though it is not an outcome it should be counted as one.” Or like another one i clicked inflamation as an answer to what is causing irritation . Said i was wrong because “the muscles” are the answer “because they are inflamed.” Seriously is making me worry about taking the mblex. If this test is going to be set up like this, then know there is no way to study for real—given that a large portion of the questions have multiple answers that work—and no specification in the question as to which one it really wants(and that is if they dont just give you a complete trick question to begin with—and not the kind that makes sense after it is explained either). ### 2/5 — It’s okay *2021-06-22, version 12.2.0* Great set up and questions but it did absolutely nothing for me when I took the MBLEX I wasted my time using the app because literally none of the material was covered on the test. ### 2/5 — Lost all progress *2020-08-11, version 6.5.6* I loved using this app daily to keep my knowledge fresh. Today I opened the app to do a practice exam, and the app was freezing, so I kept closing and reopening it. Finally it started to work again, and a login screen I had never seen before popped up. I clicked “continue without signing up” and the app had reset all of my progress. I had completed nearly 500 questions and answered more than 30 QOTD. Use the build your own quiz option and see where you stand in each topic. I had about an 80-90% in each topic. I did purchase another app that was expensive and kept crashing.
