## What is Amya?

Family location for iPhone, end-to-end encrypted — free, with no location history.

Amya+ adds sat nav to a person, and if you drive a Tesla, your family sees its destination, arrival time and charge while you're in it.

Know they're okay. Without being watched. Amya is family location without the creepy bits.

See where your people are, when they got there and whether they're on the move — without giving an advertising company a map of your family's life.

Your family's location is end-to-end encrypted. Not even Amya can see it. No ads. No selling your data. No behavioural tracking.

And the important stuff stays free.

Live location. Places. Arrivals and departures. Expectations. Come Get Me. Flight landings. Multiple families, Trips and guests. No subscription required.

YOUR PEOPLE, AT A GLANCE

Open Amya and know.

• See everyone who's sharing with you on one calm, private map
• Know whether they're home, moving or somewhere else
• See "At Home for 2h" — where they are, and since when
• See how fresh every location is at a glance

PLACES & EXPECTATIONS

Less checking. Less texting.

• Save Home, School, Grandma's — wherever matters
• Get gentle arrival and departure alerts
• Pick a home and get a heads-up when someone's nearly there
• Expect someone "home by 6" and hear nothing unless they're not there

COME GET ME — FREE

Need picking up? One tap.

Come Get Me turns your location into a beacon and rings the family. Whoever's free can answer "On my way" and come get you.

Come Get Me is free. Always.

FAMILY ISN'T ONE SHAPE

• Have Home, Mum's, Grandad — whatever family looks like for you
• Create a Trip for a holiday, festival or weekend away
• Bring Grandma into Home for the weekend with a guest pass that expires automatically

KIND TO YOUR BATTERY

Together? Your phones don't all need to work.

Amya's Piggyback mode lets nearby family phones share the location workload, helping the others save battery.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your family's location belongs to your family.

• End-to-end encrypted
• Amya can't read your family's location
• No ads
• No behavioural tracking
• No selling your data
• No location history — Amya shows where your people are now, never where they've been
• Your family's key can ride your iCloud Keychain, so a new iPhone keeps your family — end-to-end encrypted by Apple, and no location ever goes there
• Go Dark when you want a moment off the map

THE IMPORTANT STUFF STAYS FREE

Knowing they're okay is free — in the app and in every alert. Getting to them, and having Amya outside the app, is Amya+.

Nav straight to them Full turn-by-turn navigation whose destination is a person — even while they're moving. Try it free on any journey before you decide.

Find them on foot When you're close, follow the live arrow and close the gap. Inside the last 150 metres the map lays flat with both of you on it — how far, and which side.

Answer Come Get Me Tap "On my way" and Amya takes over — with navigation and a live ETA for the person waiting.

Amya outside the app Who's home as a ring on your Lock Screen — one ring per place you choose — and automatic minutes-from-home ETAs. Nothing is held back — open Amya and it's all there, free.

One small monthly subscription covers the whole family — the organiser subscribes, everyone's covered — and a subscription of your own goes with you into any family or Trip. It shares with your Apple family too. First week free.

SUPERCHARGE AMYA WITH TESLA

Drive a Tesla? Connect it in Settings (Amya+). While you're in the car your family sees where you're heading, when you'll arrive and the charge, with a red ring while you drive. Only while your phone is aboard — never the car on its own — and sealed to your family like everything else.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.14 — 2026-10-15

Together in the car. When someone rides with you, your phone already knows it, and now every phone in the family takes its word: they move with you, wear the riding colour, and the Tesla ring holds steady for everyone aboard. No more flickering in and out of the car.

Their phone can rest. A passenger's phone now turns its GPS down while yours does the work, and wakes the moment they get out.

Drop-offs stay put. Once their phone says they've arrived, nobody gets carried off with the car.

A moving phone no longer reads "stopped" for a moment when its signal hiccups.

Expectations are yours. "Expect Ella home by nine" is your phone's own alarm, like muting a place: only your phone keeps it, only you hear it, and nobody else in the family is told.

### 1.6.10 — 2026-10-15

The first frame is the real one. Open Amya and the map waits a moment for the family's latest word before it settles, so nobody who moved overnight is left off the edge. On a normal morning nothing moves at all.

One name per person. If the organiser renames someone, their phone takes that name too; if they rename themselves, the family takes theirs. Whoever said it last wins, and the alerts say the same name as the app.

Joining is private from the first second. The request a new member sends is sealed to the organiser before it reaches our relay, so the relay never sees the name they typed.

The watch fits the small face. On a 40 mm watch the finder's arrow and distance scale to the face, and the hint stays out of the way while the arrow is pointing.

Under the bonnet, a night of tidying: the map draws places by one rule on the phone and the watch, the watch's bar follows the clock row on every size, and a reconnect no longer dials twice.

### 1.6.7 — 2026-10-15

Amya on your wrist. The family you see on your iPhone, on your Apple Watch: who's where, the map with the same pools and labels, Come get me and Go Dark as the two buttons, and Find them — turn your wrist and the arrow points at them, the distance counts down, and a tap on the wrist says warmer or colder so you can keep your arm down. On a watch without a compass (Series 4 and earlier) a person opens the map instead. The Lock Screen ring is on your watch face too, and the complication offers every family you're in and every saved place. Your watch never holds a key or sees a location on its own; your iPhone does the work and shows the watch. Amya on the wrist is Amya+.

One lime. Amya's green is the one in the logo now, everywhere — rings, rails, buttons, the icon.

Labels that fit. A name near the edge of the map slides into view, and a long one shrinks to fit, on the phone and the watch.

Two iPhones, one you. Moved to a new iPhone and kept the old one on? One row in your profile, "Amya phone", says which the family sees you from. To retire a phone, delete Amya from it — never Leave or Reset there.

Small things: an answer from beside the caller ends their Come get me; the family never loses Amya+ because the organiser's phone was offline; a tapped notification opens the map on that person; a still phone at home is quieter on the battery.

### 1.6.6 — 2026-10-14

Two iPhones, one you. Moved to a new iPhone and kept the old one on? One row in your profile, "Amya phone", says which of your iPhones the family sees you from and names the other. Tap it to make this the Amya phone; the other steps back until you choose it there. Nothing happens on its own. To retire a phone, delete Amya from it — never Leave or Reset there.

A family that no longer exists reads "Ended". A family nobody has opened in three months is gone from our relay; a phone that still holds its key sees it as ended in the Families list instead of waiting on an empty door. Nothing is deleted for you.

Muted, quieter. A muted person's instant alert arrives silent and nameless, and clears itself the next time you open Amya.

Under the bonnet: a new iPhone's first minutes can never overwrite the names your organiser gave, and the alerts shared between the app and its extension are written safely.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-11

Notifications as they walk in. The phone that arrives now tells the family itself: an arrival, a departure or a Come Get Me reaches every phone the moment it happens, whether or not Amya is open there. Sealed to your family like everything else — our servers read none of it.

Tap a notification, land on the person. "Big Soph · Arrived at Work" opens the app on Big Soph.

Opening the app shows now, not then. Back after a couple of minutes away, the map frames the family again instead of where you last left it.

A new iPhone walks straight back in. Your family, your places and the names you gave people all come with you.

In the car. The Tesla charge pill sits on the owner's row only; the red ring and the car's words stay on everyone aboard.
