### 4/5 — Good foundation

*2019-08-05, version 5.0*

Currently this app has the most extensive and up-to-date python installation of any app. When used with an external code editor it is quite usable. Shortcuts for external keyboards would be appreciated.

### 3/5 — when I open user guide，it broke down and I returned to the desktop

*2019-02-01*

when I open user guide，it broke down and I returned to the desktop

### 1/5 — Rubbish! The user interface is not usable. No web site, no instructions.

*2018-11-12, version 3.8*

Rubbish! The user interface is not usable. No web site, no instructions.

### 4/5 — No User Guide at All

*2018-11-10*

This app could do much better with detailed documentation and friendly UI. It's hard for beginner to figure out the basic/advanced usage. Hope major improvements in user experiences will made in future updates.

### 2/5 — Potentially brilliant

*2018-11-03*

...but so hard to use, and buggy.
(1) The user manual crashes my app.
(2) The code editor is terrible. Perhaps you could edit elsewhere and just drag those files in?
(3) I can’t work out how to open a file (hence my need for the user manual).

### 1/5 — Something is wrong

*2018-09-02*

Unfortunately, there is no User Guide for the iPad, thus I cannot load any data.

### 1/5 — Import

*2018-07-26*

Import of csv is not possible. App always crashes!

### 5/5 — Good communication and fast update

*2018-04-23*

A very good software on iOS. When I face some bug. The communication between me and developer is very good and fast. And also developer help me find out more solutions about my code problem. In my thought, it is more better than Pythonista. Thanks a lot

### 3/5 — Intruiging Idea, but incomplete

*2018-01-08*

This is very close to functional, but suffers from two crucial limitations:

1. Cannot read .rdata flies into the app
2. Defaults to python when running a script
3. Doesn’t have the tidyr suite of packages (ggplot2, etc.)

I think the app developer intended for (1) to work, there is an import from iCloud option, and you can export data sets to the app, in theory. This works for r scripts, but does not work for .Rdata files. The iCloud button is unresponsive, leading me to suspect that the link ha sheen broken in an iOS update.

The pieces are here for a foundation to do serious work in iOS, and I am thrilled at the prospect. But needs improved interface with both the Dropbox app & Files app to read data. Once that happens, you can conceivably do serious data analysis using iOS devices.

###Update
Got it to import a .rdata file (you have to make your file path “~/Inbox/name.Rdata”. But, the app crashes upon loading data. It just isn’t ready yet, which is a pity because it has potential.

### 5/5 — R on iOS w/ console! Fantastic.

*2017-12-10, version 3.3*

Having access to R with console support is, frankly, awesome. Kudos to the developer for bringing this to iOS.
