### 2/5 — Weekly subscription required

*2019-08-19, version 2.0.5*

Weekly subscription required even to try it. No thanks. I’d rather spend a few bucks a week on games I get to choose.

### 2/5 — Can’t continue into the game

*2019-07-18, version 2.0.5*

I haven’t been able to enter the game. This is because it asks if I want to pay to remove adds. In the advertisement, there is no “X” to continue to the game with ads. So I’m not able to enjoy this game without paying.

### 1/5 — Not a free game

*2019-07-13, version 2.0.5*

Won’t let you play without paying for a subscription. Garbage. They should make you pay from the get go. No idea how the game is.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2019-07-11, version 2.0.5*

It was fun but than it made you create a account that coast money and would not let you out of that screen.

### 1/5 — Deceptive practices. Dont buy.

*2019-07-08, version 2.0.5*

It is not free and does not allow you to play a single minute without committing to pay in the future.
Also: It is slow.
Dont buy. Do not encourage bad businesses.

### 1/5 — Don’t get this game

*2019-07-08, version 2.0.5*

The game will let you play two levels before forcing you to pay for a subscription service for all their games.

### 1/5 — Another Bait and Switch

*2019-06-20, version 2.0.3*

This “game” allows you to play 2 levels then forces you to “Subscribe and Save” to play any further. I clicked the “X” so I don’t pay to play and that screen just stays there. Waste of time.

### 2/5 — Help

*2019-06-20, version 2.0.3*

I bought the app...got to level 20 now it won’t let me in unless I subscribe to play on Playond....huh....there are only 20 levels...like what I played!!!

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2019-02-19, version 1.9.0*

I would ask for my money back if I could

### 2/5 — Color blind

*2019-01-08, version 1.9.0*

I love the idea of this game and the early levels with one color are nice, but it’s practically impossible to find the images when you’re colorblind.

### 3/5 — Good game but...

*2018-11-21, version 1.7.1*

I made some purchases for points and the holiday expansion and it won’t work and was not credited.

### 1/5 — Did not receive purchased tips or Holiday pack!

*2018-11-05, version 1.7.0*

I just spent 4.00 $ on unlocking the Holiday pack and 200 tips. No tips were added!!?

### 1/5 — The subscription “forcing” to play the game makes it unplayable

*2019-10-14, version 2.0.6*

Even worst the fact that you can not buy this single game, even if you wanted to. Really lame to try to force a subscription on people this way.

### 1/5 — Didn’t play

*2019-09-10, version 2.0.6*

The subscription model is too expensive and invasive. I’m not paying a monthly fee for access to a game I might or might not enjoy. They should provide ability to at least play once before they force you to pay up to $50 a year. It’s better to own what you pay for.

### 1/5 — Pay to play

*2019-08-01, version 2.0.5*

This game requires a subscription before even playing a single level. Downloaded it, and deleted it after opening it once. Nope.

### 1/5 — Can't play without paying

*2019-07-26, version 2.0.5*

Listing this as free is a lie. You can't even try it without signing up for a $2.50 a week subscription.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2019-07-23, version 2.0.5*

Once installed it asks you to pay to play.

### 1/5 — Can't play without paying

*2019-07-23, version 2.0.5*

Open the game and you are taken to a page where you have to agree to pay $2.49 per week to play the game. Yes it's correctly written $2.49 not 2.49$. I don't see anywhere in the game description that it's a party to play game. Looks interesting but I'm deleting it.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2019-07-20, version 2.0.5*

This is a scam
You need to pay in order to play this

### 1/5 — Garbage product idk what the other reviewers are on

*2019-07-18, version 2.0.5*

Pay to play ruins my day

### 1/5 — Have to pay to play

*2019-07-15, version 2.0.5*

I wasn’t even able to play the game because in order to play I had to subscribe and pay $2.49/week to be able to play other games as well as this one..👎🏼 It doesn’t deserve stars, but I have to in oddest to do the review..

### 1/5 — Trash

*2019-07-13, version 2.0.5*

Don't download this trash. Can't even play without signing up for an account and agreeing to pay after a free trial.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love THIS game.....but

*2019-12-13, version 2.0.6*

I don’t want any of the others....so why can’t I just get this one without downloading the Playond app etc. Sad. I would have liked to play more.

### 5/5 — Love This Game

*2019-07-18, version 2.0.5*

I really hope the developers make more levels.

### 5/5 — My number one go to game!

*2019-06-18, version 2.0.3*

This is the one game I have kept on my phone consistently. I Love love love it! I have played it through to the end more than once and hope that the developers continue to add to it or make similar games, as I have yet to find anything that I enjoy of the same caliber from anywhere else. It is also my only 5 star rating of ANY application.

### 5/5 — Slow and very relaxing

*2019-06-05, version 2.0.3*

Don’t get in a hurry on this, you’ll miss what your looking for

### 5/5 — What a pleasure

*2019-01-26, version 1.9.0*

This is more enjoyable than other games like this - the object is to move the objects around until they make a shape. I was afraid the hint system would be another in- game way to get money, but there is a good balance between difficulty and hints.

The only suggestion would be to have the image and silhouette tips be a bit larger so not to use screenshots - not a big issue at all. I look forward to other expansion packs.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your comments and feedback. I’m glad you’re enjoying Anamorph

### 5/5 — Problems fixed! This is up there with Shadowmatic now! Buy it!

*2018-12-23, version 1.8.0*

This game is right up my ally. I love Shadowmatic and other similar 3D twisting puzzles. The biggest issue I have now that the controls have been fixed, (thank heavens) is that the images are so vague that there’s nearly nothing to go on for solving them. There’s a fine line between spotting an image in a bunch of dots and solving the puzzle, and randomly twisting till you luck into a solution you never saw coming. This game is too much of the later and not enough of the former. Even after the game self solves one color and you see what you’re shooting for it’s still nearly impossible to solve the rest of a puzzle due to the diffusion of dots in the final image being so difficult to decipher. I’m not sure what to suggest to help with the problem. Maybe shading better would help, or a percentage in a corner that shows how close to the correct orientation you are. The percentage would be a last ditch option since you wouldn’t be trying to find an image and would instead be trying to match a number. Either way the game needs help of some sort, because I really want to like it and would love it if it was closer to what it should be.
EDIT...
I still can’t get anywhere with this game. It’s very maddening to play a game type you love but have nothing but frustration be the end result. I’ve tried this dozens of times but still can’t make progress. It’s even worse when multiple colors are on screen. I have a possible way to help though. If you can add a button to turn off the colors not currently being controlled that might make it possible to pick images out of the random spatter on screen. The combination of two, (and probably more later in game) groups of different dots that are meaningless and random on screen at the same time make the images impossible to pick out of the clutter. Turning one or more sets off, (or being able to dim them) might fix the problem. I’m really trying to love this game...

EDIT...
The transparency fixed it!!!
Five star game now!
You the man!
The option to dim the unused color turns it from a random bunch of dots, to an identifiable shape in a reasonable amount of time.
I also have similar issues with the game Rockband. Too many notes on screen at the same time can’t be processed mentally. It looks like someone threw a handful of Skittles at the screen.
Bought the holiday pack add on too.
Top tier puzzle game after updates and a must buy if you love innovative interesting games.

### 5/5 — Where’s the holiday levels?

*2018-11-19, version 1.7.1*

I bought the holiday pack expansion, but for some reason there is nothing after level 50. Love the game though! 3 stars just because the holiday pack is nowhere to be found. :(

**Developer response:** Hi Zach - The new update should resolve that issue. Sorry about the inconvenience.

### 5/5 — This Was Tough

*2018-10-30, version 1.6.0*

I was so torn as to what rating I would give this game. It’s very creative and challenging. It’s difficulty, though, is maddening. Even on the “easy” setting, you have to get it VERY close to the correct position and it doesn’t always trigger. There were many times I wished I could hide a color while working on the next just for eye strain purposes, but I also understand that the difficulty to see around the colors is likely intentional. I became VERY angry while playing, but couldn’t seem to stop. It’s not because I thoroughly enjoyed it; I guess I’m just a masochist. I decided on giving it five stars because it’s well done and not something you can just fly through. My wounded pride still hates that fact.

**Developer response:** New update. I created a new in-game option to make non-selected colors more transparent. Click on the in-game pause menu to select this option. Hope you enjoy

### 5/5 — wonderful, thoughtful puzzler!

*2018-10-12, version 1.6.0*

i’ve always loved puzzle games and i was hooked on this one immediately. it’s beautiful, intriguing, the difficulty is challenging but enjoyable. an idea for the developers is a “night mode” where the background can change from white to black or another dark color! just for those, like me, who play the game before bed as a way to relax :)

**Developer response:** Hey chai - I’m glad you enjoy Anamorph and great feedback. I’ll definitely look into this for inclusion in an update. Thanks again for the review

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-10-06, version 1.5.0*

Love apps that challenge me. The only thing that would improve it is if you could go back to look at the pics you created. Once you’ve made the pic it’s gone forever. Otherwise terrific app!!

**Developer response:** Hey Kodiak - Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoy! Don’t forget you received a free sampling of the anamorphic art used in the game as iMessage Stickers 😃. You can also visit the Store and get the full Anamorph Sticker Pack that includes all the art from the game plus some additional made just as Stickers. Thanks again!
