Finally perfecting my shape and desired style. When I did the Face scan for the app they suggested a shape almost IDENTICAL to like, which Is a bold arch! Seeing their “brow” on me I saw no difference from when I have my own brows on with my dipbrow! For beginners, I think this app is a great starting point. Look at their suggestion and put your own spin on it to create your perfect brow! I really enjoyed my experience using the app. It was simple to use. Just snap a picture of yourself and it’ll let you try out different brow shapes and colors. It is nice to try out before you purchase a product. ### 3/5 — So much potential! *2021-04-20* This app displays a lot of promise, but there are definitely some glitches that are significant enough to hinder the overall use of the app. The virtual stencil / face analysis feature is inaccurate, and the “try on” feature for products and eyebrow styles is kind of frightening to say the least. Very cartoonish. Very exaggerated. However, the video tutorials and pictorials are pretty awesome. Very useful tools! Not to mention the section for new products, it’s always good to have a heads up on the latest and greatest. Long story short, there’s definitely room for improvement... but it’s a great start! This review is part of a contest for early access to the app. ### 4/5 — Helpful & Informative! *2021-04-20* I don’t think I’m the only one who could use a little more help with their brows, which is why I like the concept of this ABH brow app. I enjoy the personal video message in welcoming the app and going straight into the brow quiz. The quiz is very straightforward and the app is so easy to use that I think it’d be perfect for helping people of all ages and skill levels perfect their brows. The one issue I had is with the face scanner: it may have not worked properly with my face, since once it was completed, the stencil didn’t align exactly with my brows. In fact it was just a little higher above them. I looked for a way to redo the face scanning process in case it was an error on my part, but there was unfortunately no option to try again. However, I do like the concept of the step-by-step guide while you are practicing doing your brows, learning more about techniques and products. The app overall may just need some tweaking to make it perfect, but I found it stylish, accessible and informative! I wrote this review as part of a contest. ### 3/5 — Just ok *2021-04-17, version 1.2* Overall, the app was easy to install and use. Within a few minutes I had my ‘perfect’ brow. I liked that there were colors to match my own brows and different styles for fuller/higher arch/thinner brows. BUT, I did not think the suggested brows looked good in me. That said, the tutorial for shaping and filling the brows for a more natural look was educational. Just don’t think anyone would use the app more than once. I downloaded and tried the app to review as part of a contest. ### 4/5 — Nice App *2021-04-12, version 1.2* I recently downloaded this app to get the information and instructions to utilize this app. I found it very easy to navigate. When the app completed my profile, it showed different styles of my eyebrows virtually. This is awesome and I do plan on using in future. I’m writing this review as part of a contest with Influenster. ### 4/5 — Easy perfect brows *2021-04-09, version 1.2* I was so glad to be able to be one of the first people to try out this app. Ever since using it and finding my perfect brow shape I have found it easier and quicker to use the on screen stencil to shape my brows. I would like the ability to print out the stencil, but other than that this is the perfect app for anyone wanting easy and quick beautiful brows. ### 4/5 — Brow App Review *2021-04-08* I personally have always used Anastasia Beverly hill products ever since I first started filling in my brows. Using this app made me realize I wasn’t doing it the way I should be and that there are other ways I can do my eyebrows that would better suit my face. I love how easy it is to use and it’s so easy to get a one on one meeting with someone through the app who can consult with you about how exactly to construct the perfect brow. My only down side is that when it scanned my face I felt that my eyebrows were alittle to low. That was my only reason for not giving 5 stars. Overall I loved the app and think it was a great idea for the brand to make it easier on girls who are wanting to learn more about how to do brows! I did this review through a contest. ### 4/5 — Easy to navigate *2021-04-08, version 1.2* I enjoyed this app. The face analysis feature lets you try on different eyebrow styles according to your bone structure and measurements, so you can decide on which brow style you want before actually plucking hairs out. It also recommends what shade you should get, and you can try on the different shades available for each product. You need good lighting if you want an accurate shade match. ### 3/5 — This app is good if you need help with your brows. *2021-04-06, version 1.2* It was okay for myself I have very light skin and so the computerized eyebrows do not look right or are my aesthetic. However most people could benefit from the customization and it also provides you with tips and shows you how to apply each product. You also have the option to purchase from the app, and I found that nice. I don’t see this being beneficial for people who already do their eyebrows well. Really only would use this to see what color eyebrow I should change if I was dying my hair. Just not for me - I did receive this through Influenster as part of a contest. ### 3/5 — Decent app *2021-04-06* When I first downloaded it, it was pretty glitch so I didn't touch it for a couple of weeks. Decided to try it again and it seems to work smoother, takes less time to try and scan your face to give recommendations on what the "perfect brow" would be for you. For me, they seem to think I want a unibrow with how close the brows are to each other on my face. The scanner also tried to put my brows below my actual brows which I found to be pretty funny. Was able to fix by re-scanning 3-4 times. I like that it does show tutorials and helpful tips as well as products to buy. Not too overconfusing which is nice for those that may be new at drawing on brows. I wrote this review as part of a contest. ### 3/5 — Helpful for eyebrow newbies *2021-04-05* This app is great for those that are new to doing eyebrow makeup, but I personally did not feel like I learned anything new. I do like the mini informative videos and think some may learn a lot from them. However, the face scanning was a little difficult to do. They only give a few options of different brow looks/shapes to “try on” your face, but none of them were flattering or realistic. I think with time and feedback this app will get better, but for now it isn’t for me. I would like to see MY brows in different shading techniques, not clip art brows. Would also like to try their makeup on my face in Live Photo, but it would need to look far more realistic I wrote this honest review as part of a contest. ### 4/5 — Easy to try on brows *2021-04-04, version 1.2* I enjoyed being able to try Anastasia Brow App. It’s super easy to “try on” different preloaded brows. There is several tutorials you can watch to try to recreate the same looks. I found some of the content hard to use. I basically just tried on different shapes and colors using my phone camera. I understand that they are going for the “golden ratio” to give you perfect brows, but most of the looks made me look Neanderthal-esque. Despite that, the brows looked very realistic and they gave great tutorials and brow advice. Really cool app, and I’m happy to review it as part of a contest. If you need any help creating the perfect brow, this app is a really fun place for reference. ### 4/5 — Pretty decent *2021-03-31, version 1.2* It was kinda cool that they put the eyebrows right on your face for you and actually teach you how to achieve the eyebrows they recommend. I guess someone who doesn’t know much about eyebrows would benefit a lot because it goes step by step but you do have to take off your glasses which is understandable but I could t really see lol. The app is fairly user friendly. I did experience some issues with the face analysis but this could be a first time user error. It took me several attempts to get the results. The best feature is that it allows you to choose several shades and shapes. It also gives a tutorial on how to achieve the look. The link to purchase the products is also beneficial. The interactive feature did not work the way I wanted it to and I became really frustrated with it. I did enjoy the short tutorials about how to apply the product but would have enjoyed it much better if I actually had the product to work with. So I’m left wondering if the whole idea is to purchase the products or just to determine what eyebrow shapes would look best on me. I would not recommend to others because it was not user friendly for me. I completed this review as part of a contest for Influenster. ### 2/5 — Not a fan. *2021-03-26* I was pretty stoked to try out a brow app, to see what the possibilities are with my brows. Or to get some tips how to shape them. There was some okay finds on this app and some terrible finds. It’s nice to get product recommendations and to learn about which brow fits best. The idea is cool. It’s doesn’t really work well though. First of all it took me 20 min to figure out how to put which lines/balls on my eyebrow, so they could read my face to find fitting eyebrows. Even after watching the tutorial twice, I still couldn’t figure it out. The colors look very unnatural, the brows look terrible and all of them way too short for my face. The quality of the portrait picture mode to share your findings is super grainy and bad quality. All in all I wasted 30 min of my life on this app. So therefore I wouldn’t recommend it. I rather have someone look at them in person instead of this technology. The “try on brows” just looked terrible on me. It also took a while to analyze my face, it kept failing. The only thing I found useful was the Golden ratio method section but that’s really nothing new. I was invited to try this app and review it as part of a contest. ### 2/5 — Great idea, okay execution. *2021-03-22* It was exciting to be among the first to download and use this app. It walks you through the process of identifying your brow preferences, scanning your face, and simulating the best brow shape and color for your face. The app does a good job of explaining the technique and how to use Anastasia brow products, but it does have some shortcomings. The brows, for instance, don’t look very realistic and are very overly prominent on your face and sometimes even in the wrong position (too low and too short). The app is glitchy: it failed to rescan my face and there are no options to adjust the placement so I deleted it. It’s a great idea, but I had a really hard time lining the brow guides up with my face shape. The colors are too harsh compared to what they look like in real life as well which makes it hard to decide what you like or need product wise. With some tweaks, it could be awesome. From what I gathered, it essentially helps you elevate the type of brow you like on yourself by helping you create the right proportions for your brows.
