I downloaded this to help me in my A&P class. It’s nice works well but very little option if you don’t pay. Most people using this app are probably in college and can’t pay for more access in the app. I get you have to make money some way, but make me watch an ad instead? Pay to remove ads even? Sadly this won’t be of much use to me but it does look very nice

I purchased the app on my mac 2 years ago ( lifetime purchase) and installed it on my ipad with the same icloud account and it used to work perfectly on both devices  , it is only recently that I am discovering they separated macos and ipados to separate subscriptions ( under crossed platforms context) which made me loose access to the app on my ipad , it’s completely illogical to buy the app twice ( i had it on mac but now i have to buy it on ipad too a second time) specially that i used to have it last year and it is only now they retrieved that option

I bought this app years ago and now I am locked out because they started a subscription model. 

This is theft. If you want to start a subscription you can’t retroactively apply it to people who bought it under the pretense of a onetime purchase. 

I will no longer recommend this to my students.
