### 2/5 — Landscape

*2025-03-26, version 2.3*

Does not open into landscape mode, fix that and it will be 5 stars!

### 4/5 — Very complete, easy and fun!

*2023-01-03, version 2.2*

I’ve been a massage therapist for over 15 years and just started in PT field, this app has helped me tremendously when to do soap notes and when I don’t have all muscle groups in the top of my head as well as movements of the body and bone structures. Highly recommended!

### 4/5 — PLEASE ALLOW THIS APP TO WORK HORIZONTALLY!!!

*2022-05-04, version 2.2*

please!!! i know it’s designed in portrait mode, but it makes it impossible to split screen the app on a tablet and take notes alongside the app. it’s perfect in every other way, but this is super frustrating

### 4/5 — Convenient Study Tool - Use in Airplane Mode!

*2022-04-16, version 2.2*

Really great App for studying overall. Very convenient; you can use it in airplane mode. Missing some detail in boney landmarks, an missing a few deep muscles of the back, but overall super great study tool!

### 4/5 — Well built

*2022-03-24, version 2.2*

I appreciate the search tool and all the options! What I would change is to add an anatomical body with the ability to select systems, acupressure points, and more.

### 4/5 — Good basic anatomy app

*2022-02-17, version 2.2*

I like this app, it is simple and easy to use, but search function could use some beefing up and many muscles that I know are actually not included.

### 4/5 — One improvement I would suggest

*2021-12-13, version 2.2*

Have a random button so they can be used more like flash cards instead of always having to go through the same sequence.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-11-20, version 2.2*

Helping me pass kinesiology

### 4/5 — Solid app for PTA school

*2021-10-31, version 2.2*

I think this app is definitely worth the money especially considering my coursework and exams are all based on the content from this book. Only wish is that we could write on the images or make little notes

### 4/5 — Good for basic info

*2021-10-28, version 2.2*

Would like landscape mode so I can split screen on iPad

### 2/5 — 4/5

*2021-09-11, version 2.2*

Great overall. I just wish it had a quiz option and it flipped to the side view.

### 5/5 — On the go studying

*2021-08-23, version 2.2*

This is great for studying wherever u are. I use the cards for study material & also if there is something I don’t remember it is quick & easy to look up the name of a muscle or bone.

### 2/5 — It’s ok

*2021-03-16, version 2.2*

I have the flash cards made by Trail Guide and they’re gorgeous so I bought this app thinking it would be as useful and I’m a little disappointed. The pictures on the app are terrible compared to the cards. This last update made it worse.

### 5/5 — Massage therapy student

*2021-03-09, version 2.2*

I’ve used a lot of different anatomy apps to learn muscles and bones but this is the most useful with the palpation explaination. I highly recommend this app for any student wanting to learn muscles and bones is a very exciting way.
I wish however creators would make a recording audio for all the material on the anatomy app so people like me with learning issues can hear it out load at the same time as reading it just one more way to really drill things to the memory. I wish they would also create add on a app for quizzing the knowledge found in the trail guide and the different action, origins, insertion for the different muscles would be hugely beneficial for a anatomy student! ❤️

### 5/5 — Good for reviews

*2021-01-30, version 2.2*

I have been a practicing LMT for over three years now and I still review and refresh my anatomy knowledge. I enjoy this app because it's easy to use when I am on the go and have a few empty minutes.

### 5/5 — Absolutely love it!

*2021-01-14, version 2.2*

This makes it 100x easier! So worth it!

### 5/5 — Electronic flash cards

*2021-01-11, version 2.2*

This is just like having flash cards but better. Instead of all the answers on the back of the card you can single out what you are looking for. Excellent for studying for A&P in physical therapy assisting school. I also bought trail guide to the body book and the work book that goes with it. I also bought the Palpation app that goes with this one. When you buy the book it gives you access to the videos online but I bought the app anyway because of the ease of accessing the videos from the app. The only thing they could improve is being able to use the app in landscape view.

### 5/5 — Must Have App for Therapy Students!

*2020-12-02, version 2.2*

This app has everything you can ask for when it comes to testing and reviewing anatomy! I love how it gives you M/C questions with the muscles as well as having the accessibility to pull it out during my down time and for prepping for exams! If I can only change one thing it would be to ask questions over the nerve innervations.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This is a five star app!

*2024-04-30, version 2.3*

Except for the fact that it decided that it should pop up asking me to review it!

### 1/5 — No voice

*2022-03-24, version 2.2*

Why is there no sound in the app?

### 1/5 — This was good until

*2020-01-04, version 158*

This app was helpful until they took away the bookmarks tool and never brought it back.

### 1/5 — Review

*2019-11-13, version 1.6*

This app worked great while it lasted, it was the only resource I’d found to help me pass my tests with studying. But for whatever reason, it’s not compatible with iOS 13 or later and crashes whenever you use it. So not only have I wasted 15$s I’m failing my tests because I have yet to find anything else to help me study that’s just as useful.

### 1/5 — Crashing all the time

*2019-11-09, version 1.6*

Every time I click on a subject and click a topic, the app always crashes and exits. I hope this can get fixed, it would be really helpful

### 1/5 — iPhone update makes the app unusable

*2019-11-02, version 1.6*

I used to find this app really useful for studying for school. However now the app closes completely when you try and click on a muscle making it useless. Hope they release an update soon to fix these issue.

### 1/5 — No longer works after phone update

*2019-10-27, version 1.6*

This app is extremely helpful! However, after the phone update, it no longer works. Such a shame.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2019-10-27, version 1.6*

I had a chance to use this for about a month before the iOS update that caused this app not to work anymore. Super disappointed that I paid for it and it doesn’t work anymore. Wish I could get a refund.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! Keeps CRASHING

*2019-10-26, version 1.6*

I’ve had this app for 4 months now, worked just fine until now when I’m studying to take the MBLEX, it crashes constantly! Please help

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2019-10-24, version 1.6*

I just downloaded the app for a little extra help to assist in my college studies and I’m unable to use it. No matter what I click on, it crashes and closes out. I’ve tried restarting my phone and deleting and redownloading the app and the problem is persisting. Not worth purchasing. It’s been a month and it still isn’t resolved and it doesn’t look like it will anytime soon. I wish I could take back the money I payed for it because this app is literally useless

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent resource

*2025-12-26, version 2.3*

I used the app initially to learn bones and muscles in PTA school. I use it in clinical settings to show patients what muscles, bones, or joints we are targeting.

### 5/5 — Liberty University EXSC-Therapeutics Student Review

*2025-02-06, version 2.3*

This app directly correlates to the book that we’re using in lecture and lab. It has helped tremendously to be able to have such anatomically accurate and detailed pictures in my pocket at all times. I can study at any point throughout my day. One thing I would like to see more of is a wider array of questions.

### 5/5 — Flash cards

*2023-10-01, version 2.2*

Flash cards on the go. A well needed app to see the muscles & bones visually!

### 5/5 — Student review.

*2023-02-19, version 2.2*

As a new student in massage school, I find this app increases my ability to study relevant anatomy anywhere I go. Having this opportunity to study at will anywhere is helping me learn the material instead of memorizing for a test.

### 5/5 — Great Way to Study

*2022-10-25, version 2.2*

I have been using this app for a few year now, and I continue to come back to review. I would only recommend the designer to add pictures for the Action. It,s difficult to figure out adduction, abductio, flexing, etc. without an illustration. Five Stars!

### 5/5 — Therapist

*2022-08-10, version 2.2*

As a sports massage and Yoga therapist I recommend this app for refreshing your anatomical knowledge

### 5/5 — Perfect for massage therapists and not only.

*2022-06-24, version 2.2*

Such a great tool for learning and revision of your Anatomy! As a massage therapist I absolutly love this app. So worth the money.

### 5/5 — Good for studying

*2022-03-16, version 2.2*

I like test to locate the name . Help me to review.

### 5/5 — Such a fun app to learn with!

*2022-02-16, version 2.2*

I have been using this app for many years after completing my therapeutic massage program. It’s so easy to use. A good tool for anyone’s anatomy toolbox. Use this app with care. Do no harm.

### 5/5 — Great for Massage Therapy School and Beyond!

*2022-01-13, version 2.2*

I purchased this app my first week of massage school and used it EVERY DAY. It’s so easy to navigate and quick to check individual muscles! I’ve been licensed and practicing for 5 years now and I still reference it sometimes. 100% worth the money because it really is a full textbook worth of information at your fingertips!
