Every time you go anywhere, the app logs a new trip, and there is no way to delete them or the history of your trips. Once configured you just need to learn the limitations of bluetooth. Not rocket surgery. Understanding and using the information requires some knowledge of batteries and car electrical principles ( beyond some people). The app could be improved with auto rotate back to vertical after landscape graph and more than a few mm spot to go from SOC to Voltage, very frustrating design. The 10-15 mV drain on the battery is insignificant. ### 3/5 — Buggy app *2026-02-18, version 2.1.3* Devices good, app not so much. Bluetooth good, then cycling connected/disconnected even though 3 feet away clear. Two units on one battery: temps agree, voltages agree within 10 mV. SOC agree between two units for 2 days, then suddenly app gives SOC 75% for device#1 at 12.55V, but 82% for device#2 at 12.53 V — *much* lower SOC estimate on dev#1 though voltage *higher* than dev#2. Both correctly configured lead-acid battery. Also the day-long chart shows a constant SOC at a n7mber that *doesn’t agree* with front-panel display. Buggy transfer of data between functions, and parameter-processing. ### 4/5 — Works ok *2025-07-10, version 2.0.0* Not a fan of it asking for access to location data. But it didn’t hound me. My battery is 5 years old now and status seems accurate with respect to its age. Happy to finally have a nice history and fast check dir a most critical item that fails every 5-7 years or so. I do not login but run it in guest mode. Don’t need a Chinese app following my every move and other safer navigation apps have that ability. ### 4/5 — Does what it says *2025-01-19, version 1.1.5* This app does what it says. I’ve bought two BM200’s for both my and my wife’s cars to monitor batteries. And while I like the app just fine — this is one app that SERIOUSLY needs CarPlay support. One of the things many modern computerized dash displays are missing is a volt meter for the battery — and with modern vehicles putting a lot more stress on their batteries (with everything being powered), and with it being harder to detect early signs of failure on EVs and Hybrid vehicles, being able to see your battery status on the console is very helpful — and as I can’t legally handle my phone while driving, being able to display this apps data in CarPlay would help remedy that. It throws a network error. Works great on a lithium battery I have on my ATV, the agm on my truck ant the other two lead acids on my other cars. ### 5/5 — Power draw 1.5mA *2026-03-29, version 2.1.4* Great logger! SoC as a metric is flawed. What you really need is voltage over time, especially when the car is off. This module and app will store 30 days worth of data, and when you are within Bluetooth range, you can see the voltage graph which will help you diagnose what’s going on with your battery. If it’s below 11.8v when off, time to get a new battery in most cases. To the other fellow that gave this 1 star for always being on—first off, the draw is so small that it would literally take months and no driving at all to kill your battery. Secondly, if you are only reading your battery when the car is on, what’s the point?!? You are measuring your alternator or HV pack. ### 5/5 — Does exactly what i need it to do *2026-01-17, version 2.1.1* For the people complaining that it only works when you are near it.. well welcome to 1989 it’s a thing called Bluetooth where it only works if you are near the device .. don’t expect to be able to read your battery voltage from across the parking lot .. you need to be near th device to see the voltage .. this should be obvious. This device is amazing and it works great. My only suggest is that (at least for me) the SOC chart is 100% useless. I like that I can remotely read voltage but the SoC seems wonky to me. With a load on it and a battery voltage above 12 volts it says the SoC is 28%.
