The map now keeps the boat centred, so it stays in view while dragging. A stern-to berth with lines ashore is drawn at the right zoom instead of a dot in the bay. The app runs on iOS 17 now, so older iPhones can keep watch too.

AIS targets on the map from your NMEA feed. Every anchorage keeps its own page with a map and a name. Remote alarms keep sounding until answered, the phone on watch gets a nightstand mode, and the app turns dark at sunset.

Dark mode arrives: follow the system, or pick light or dark yourself. You can now set the anchor by typing the numbers, with "Enter manually" in the placement list for an exact bearing and distance. Two new alerts, both on by default: a low battery warning before your phone dies on watch, and a signal loss alert if the GPS or the boat goes quiet for 10 minutes. Both use a softer chime, clearly different from the drag alarm, and alerts now break through Focus. The map keeps your older track as a grey trail too, so you can see where the anchor really lies.

Connect even more GPS receivers: RaceBox and OpenPlotter (gpsd) now work alongside Dragy and standard Bluetooth and NMEA units, and the app can automatically find Signal K and NMEA sources on your boat's Wi-Fi. Sharing a watch is easier too: scan a QR code or tap a link and it opens straight to monitoring the boat. Plus map, alarm and reliability improvements.
