## What is Anchor?

DROP IT. WALK AWAY. FIND IT AGAIN.

Anchor turns your iPhone into a direct line back to a place you want to find again. Save your car, meet-up point, campsite, hotel, trailhead or any custom coordinate, then follow the live compass back.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Drop an anchor at your current position.
2. Walk away and enjoy your day.
3. Follow the needle, distance and bearing when it is time to return.

BUILT FOR PLACES WITH BAD RECEPTION

Anchor uses the iPhone's satellite positioning, compass and motion sensors. It needs no map tiles, mobile data, Wi-Fi or downloaded regions. When GPS is obstructed, Step Estimate uses your steps and compass while clearly showing the growing uncertainty.

PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION

No account. No advertising. No analytics. No tracking. No server. Saved anchors and sensor readings stay on your iPhone and are excluded from backups unless you deliberately share a coordinate.

Anchor provides a direct-line bearing, not a turn-by-turn walking route. Always follow safe paths, signs, local rules and real-world conditions. Do not use Anchor as your only emergency or wilderness navigation tool.
